Hi Chicago Beer Classic/Lou Dog events. You stated you were waiting for approval for a Fall date 12 weeks ago- FALL IS OFFICIALLY IN LESS THAN TWO WEEKS AND WE HAVE NO INFO. Your site is not updated with any further information. This is absolutely ridiculous and shows the lack of care you have for your consumers. A response has yet to be provided to my initial post over 9 weeks ago and the follow up message 6 weeks ago, and another follow up 3 weeks ago. While we understand you are waiting for confirmation on a new date, the lack of communicating on a regular basis is unprofessional and disrespectful to your customers who attend your events each year. What is the timeframe that you expect to announce a date? Will you be providing an email communication to your customers so that we do not have to search for your responses in an old post? And if so, will the option to request a refund be provided in the email communication? If a refund is granted what is the turn around time to receive funds? And if the event cannot be rescheduled how long to do anticipate keeping our funds until you refund everyone due to the inability to provide the event? We are beyond frustrated at this point and your lack of communication has essentially lost you customers in the future. We are all happy to support our city but would like a return on our investment.
Just give us our money...
Read moreThis company offered the VIP Experience for the summer Naperville Ale Fest for an upgraded cost of $50 over the General Admission fee. Included in this cost was a "Limited edition Solemn Oath Brewery / Naperville Ale Fest Bomber". The VIP ticket clearly stated to pick up your bomber a week before the festival. Unfortunately, Solemn Oath stated they were not doing the bombers.
I contacted this company about the mix-up, but they assured me at first they were just behind schedule and an email to all VIP ticket holders would be coming. Nothing came. The festival came and went with no VIP bomber.
I followed up again with the company about the missing bomber. Weekly I would ask for updates and each week, if they responded, was a different answer like there were no bombers and they would be doing something else. We're now 2.5 months after the festival and they still have done nothing to address this. They cheated all VIP members out of a bomber they had purchased and hoped they would forget about.
On Aug 27th, Josh, the owner, stated he would get in contact with me the next day, and now 4 weeks later, still no word from him. If going to one of their events, I highly suggest settling on their General Admission tickets, as their upgraded VIP experience is just a way of them taking your money without delivering what...
Read moreI had poor experience with the VIP tickets to the Naperville ale fest. I purchased VIP tickets for the benefits it listed and it fell short. First they said I would get a bomber the week before and I didn’t. I emailed them about it after the event and they said they would get back to me when the bomber was ready. That email was sent on 7/16/19. It has been roughly two months with no word. The second issue was on the ticket it said VIP would get 1 hr early entry. Then 15mins into the “early entry” they started letting the general admission in before the start time on the general admission tickets.
I still suggest going to the event but I had a bad experience with the VIP tickets.
Since I posted this review Lou Dog Events has reached out to me about the bomber and apologized...
