Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Naples

Waited 15 minutes after our drinks order came, to place our order. My diet Coke was very flat and had to ask for lemonade instead. After 30 minutes or more our orders came out. I was with my 87yr old dad and my husband. Ordered my dad chicken parmesan over fettuccine noodles and a side salad (which I pointed out to the waitress on the menu and said side salad ($1.99)with 1000 island dressing. They don't have 1000 island so she suggested Mexiranch. My husband had a bacon cheeseburger (bacon was inedible, rubbery) and french fries (greasy) and I had the beef brisket tacos (dripping with grease) and french fries(also greasy) The Chicken Parm was old hard thick dark brown coating and couldn't cut it even using the steak knife. It was stringy and dry inside. The fettuccine noodles were not fresh, reheated (miniscule tomato sauce) and the breadstick was chewy also reheated. Tried to explain issue with server and she said she could have another one recooked or he can order something else. That would take another 30 minutes. Asked to speak to manager and she reordered chicken fingers and some tomato sauce for him. It wasn't good but sufficed . The bill was $54.72, reviewed it and was charged $4.79 for the side salad and my tacos said $10.99 but bill said $12.49. Server said side salad only comes with certain menu items you can replace it with. Why didn't she tell me that when we ordered a side salad? She said she would get the manager back over, so we waited 15 more minutes and when no one ever came back, so we left the money on the table,(including a 20% tip). I feel servers must need the money to work there, however, food prices for leftovers is unacceptable unfair. Eat at your own risk!! We will NEVER...

Bad vibe, poor service, and a low quality drink.

*Friday evening but not busy *No hostess present *Proceeded to bar which was 3/4'empty *Both bartenders ignored me at first. *One bartender finally asked for my drink order and barely put any energy or effort into it. Oddly, she passed me off to the other bartender from there on out. *No explanation of specials or drink suggestions. Just another older lazy burned out bartender. *Their perfect margarita arrived only half filled, in a glass with no ice. I dont know if they are cutting back on the quality of the drink but this was an embarrassment. No legit bartender would serve a half a glass full with no ice, especially being their most expensive signature Margarita. *2 couples came in after me, were greeted, waited on, placed their drinks and food orders. One of their appetizers arrived and I still had not been asked to order food yet...

I had worked a 12-hour shift at the hospital on 9/19 and went in about 800 pm and just wanted a drink and a chicken entree. I sat there quietly, respecful and honestly always leave a generous gratuity.

Unfortunately I was ignored and they just didn't want to wait on me for some reason. I requested the check, paid the bill for the one poorly made margarita and wasn't offered a chance to order food. When I asked the one bartender whom I paid why she ignored me, her response was telling. She said I did not intend to ignore you.

2nd time and the last time. First time at the bar with the blond lady who knows how to use the ordering system was pleasant.

This time dark hair loud bartender who blamed every mistake on everything except herself.

Made the mistake of thinking the friday fish & chips special would be something I'd enjoy and boy was I wrong. We arrived at 1:30pm plenty of time before 2pm. Lady takes 2 orders for the lunch special but only adds lunch price to 1. In-between loud discussions for no reason I pay and see I'm overcharged. I should have told them I hated the super greasy 3 napkins used to remove the non stop dripping grease but I overloooked it for the lunch price.

She returns and tells me my credit card was refunded the difference when I'm looking and it's not only not tefunded but charged again for the correct price. I'm furious.

The manager comes out and I tell him I was nice to not send back the oily food before but now that you're double charging me and telling me to hope I'll get refunded since your system doesn't print anything claiming a refund. To hope I wont be double charged. I said just refund my whole horrible meal if you want my future business. He insisted to remake the horrible greasy dish instead of refunding me. I had no choice since he wanted me to pay for unedible food. I told him to remake it and never picked it up. He still refused to take it off my receipt even though I NEVER RECEIVED OR ATE IT! NICE!

Sad to be so happy to find a happy hour I liked only to meet 2 horrible employees to make sure I never return a 3rd...
