This was my first visit to Naples, so naturally I wanted to try a local staple. Having just made the trek across alligator alley and arriving at the perfect lunch time I arrived at Jane’s which after much internet sleuthing, appeared to be the go to choice. The outdoor seating is provided for in a pretty courtyard with fountains and fish, it seemed promising. But, then came the service and the food. I typically make inquiry somewhere new as to what the server loves and suggestions, of which he offered little and didn’t seem Interested in offering in the least. While they have a full day breakfast and lunch menu, and their lobster roll is highlighted on the menu, It is served cold and I was in the mood something warm, so I went with the salmon blt, figuring that it would be a can’t miss. Sadly they shot blindly. As you can see from the photo it was certainly not impressive. The salmon was over cooked, just too dry. The bacon was not crispy enough to be complimentary. The best part were probably the tomato which were sweet and juicy. The side of fruit was a joke, with about 5 pieces of average tasting chunks. At a price if just under $25, one can expect more. For one upside, the coffee was bold and refreshing.

Jane’s is my go to restaurant in Naples, you cannot go wrong there! I’ve been going for years and everything is always perfect, the food is always fresh and delicious, great cappuccino, friendly, competent, professional staff. I always bring my out of town guests for brunch, as well as meet up with local family and friends. I have been there in season, out of season, through out Covid, and my experience has always been great, what a treasure we have in Jane’s. This past Monday morning, I called and left a request for a table for 2 near the fountain, if possible. It was crowded, all the areas were full, but the hostess, Adriana, managed the crowd beautifully, and she was able to give me a great table. I was joined by my 87 year old mother in law, so I was especially grateful for the opportunity to have another delightful meal together. We count our blessings every day. I have no personal connection to anyone at Jane’s, but I am grateful to all the people who work there and maintain such a high standard of excellence. Don’t get me wrong, this is not haute cuisine or extravagant, it’s simply perfect.

Jane's is a must see spot. Discovered this oasis on a day trip to Naples. Had to go bc my mom's name is Jane but I was immediately transported just waking down the path leading to a lush, patio garden. There is indoor cafe seating if you must have AC but, the garden is completely plant concealed, quiet & cool. I am vegetarian so my dining out options usually make me feel restricted. Not at Jane's. I had something with portabella that tastes like steak. Juicy, grilled, want to lick your fingers steak. For an organic cafe in the heart of a high end commercial district, it was reasonably priced. I think my salad & wine was $20? Best part, as if it needed to get better, it was walking distance to The Naples Pier. A beautiful, tree lined walk. (Directions provided by the Naples Visitors Help Desk right out front) The staff was lovely. The food was incredible. The diners were a mix of couples, friends catching up & a group conducting a business meeting. Even dining alone, I felt comfortable people watching. Jane's is someplace everyone deserves to experience, at least once.

We walked into Jane's today, Mother's Day, and had a wonderful experience. We've been looking for a breakfast/brunch place in the area and this is it! Everything, right down to the china tea cup was elegant and special. The food was great and priced fairly. The maître d' greeted guests with a flower and was attentive. Jane (yes, the real Jane), looking spectacular, was busy helping everyone and then went to every table to present a jewelry gift to each woman. She partnered with Sequin in Naples and there was a gorgeous selection of bracelets and earrings to choose from. Wow. What an unexpected surprise. All the women were amazed at this generosity. Other than the neglectfully slow and/or absent waiters, we loved this place and will be back and will recommend it highly. We would chalk up the waiter's performance to a busy holiday, but it was more than that; we heard one waiter telling some people he clearly knew that he works full time at Truluck's. Hmmm. Saving energy for other job? We had to ask for water several times and for butter. When my husband finally got the attention of one of the other waiters and said, 'we don't have butter.'... the waiter looked at him and said (with a little attitude) 'ok.' (like what do you want me to do about it?) A customer at another table quickly offered up her butter saying that it took her a great effort to get the butter and felt our pain! I am only writing this so that the waiters might get their act together and appreciate having a job... so that this wonderful business woman who no doubt has a lot of money, blood, sweat, and tears invested in this gem, can have a team that works with her to build the business. We'll be back for sure and hope to write a new review with a better critique of the wait staff. ...

Just left Jane’s Easter brunch and it was beyond delicious as usual . The only disappointing part of the experience was our group of 16 or so was split between two groups even though we had a reservation- it would of been really great to sit with our whole family but the incredible service and fantastic food made up for it . The staff here work like a well oiled machine and our tables were taken care of constantly. The energy of this place is awesome and the outdoor seating is so comfortable and has so much charm. The food though , that’s why we love Jane’s. The food is worth the trek from Marco to third ave - if you get a chance to try any of the seafood breakfasts you will not be disappointed. My mother also raved about the eggs Benny being perfect.

All in all this is one of Naples gems . It’s nothing like other breakfast spots - and I find a lot of people don’t know it’s there because it’s sorta tucked away - but definitely make a trip here. If you have kids they have a court yard that is beautiful and we like to walk our kids around the property when we’re waiting for food . And the staff is extremely attentive to the kids - I really loved how kind our waitress was to my son who can get a little chatty with friendly strangers. Even though they were busy she took the time to let my son tell her all about what the Easter bunny brought him - and she did it with pure engagement.

Oh and the Bloody Mary was awesome - I loved my Bloody Mary , it was stacked with beefy olives and the pepper was spot on.

Great great...

I was looking forward to this restaurant but multiple aspects made it so I probably would not return. First, we made a reservation but still had to wait over 20 minutes past our reservation time. This was annoying bc we had 4 young kids who were hungry. Once we were seated, the waters came quickly but no server showed up for at least 10 minutes. We had to speak to the hostess stand to ask for our server. I got the signature Jane's salad, and the grilled chicken was very dry, it was completely overcooked. Same thing with my husband's chicken panini sandwich where the chicken was dry. Even though I ordered one of their signature items, the protein was poorly cooked so I left at least 50% of the chicken uneaten.

For the children, we ordered lemonade and our server asked if we wanted to try watermelon lemonade, that turned out to be $11 a cup, which is pretty high for a child's drink. For food we got various kinds of crepes and these were so small and thin. From the children's menu (not advertised anywhere, you would need to ask for it specifically), the fruit cup that came with the children's entree was so tiny, it is barely any fruit.

Although the ambiance of the restaurant can be nice, our overall experience between two families was just mediocre, considering there were issues on food taste...
