Though our delivery experience was a nightmare, we decided to give it one more chance as the owner was very sincere. We ordered butter chicken, a lamb dish, and naan. Though food took a while to come out, the service was good. My husband was very impressed with the food as he normally does not eat Indian food as he says "I don't like Indian food". Food is very good, and my husband is convinced that he now likes Indian food.
Our first experience, dine in was good so we decided to order delivery through Uber Eats. We ordered a total of 4 items. About an hour later, 2 items got delivered. Uber Eats driver stated "that's what they gave him but the thought something wasn't right". When we called the restaurant and spoke to the manager, not only he did NOT apologizing and see what he can do to remedy the situation, but also he argued with us as to this order was separate from the one that got delivered. See pictures attached showing that it was ONE order with 1 order number. HOW is it a separate order if there was ONE order number and it was paid TOGETHER? He then immediately said "can you come and pick it up"? Why would I order through Uber Eats if I could go and pick it up??? He then said "oh, let me see. Give me about 20 minutes". He then proceed to ask for our phone number and address which we provided. Mind you from the restaurant to the delivery address is about a 7-minute drive. We waited about 25 minutes to call back and spoke to the manager again to inquire as to where our food was. He said "the delivery driver is outside. Give me 15 minutes". We patiently waited another 20 minutes but still NOTHING. I decided to call back to see what's going on as 20 minutes has passed and it is only a 7-minute drive. The manager said "let me call the driver on the other line". When he came back on the line, I was told that the driver is here. I informed him that nobody is here and I even looked outside. I waited another about 2-3 minutes until the driver showed up. At this point, it was about 2 hours since we initially placed the order. The food was COLD. VERY DISAPPOINTED and FRUSTRATED not so much the order was missed and not delivered but HOW the manager handled the situation. NO apologies whatsoever. We had to call THREE times and waited an additional ONE HOUR to get the food that should have been delivered an hour ago.
My friend and I decided to give this place a try after hearing good things about it. We ordered two entrees, one appetizer, and the garlic naan bread. They were all very delicious. The two entrees we ordered were delicious. Appetizer was good, and the garlic bread was flavorful. We loved everything. Service was amazing. The chef and owner I'm assuming visited our table to check on us. Highly...
Read moreI give it a mid experience as a first time customer who picked up a to go order. I was 12 min from this place. It has the highest ratings for Indian food so I figured I would try it out bc I love Indian food.
The thing that started my experience off wrong was I was 12 min from my hotel. I get there and my order is not ready, which is fine, so I wait for my to go order 5 min max. I get back to my hotel literally 12 min later. So I am in my room about 15 min later, ready to eat. No silverware. How do u not give a to go order, to go silverware?!?! I run downstairs and grab to go silverware from the bar, which took at most 5 min. I get back upstairs and first bite I take of my food is cold.
I get Indian food in every city I travel to (I travel all over for work). This was mid. I got the lamb saag. It was just ok. Maybe it would have been better if it had been hot but it almost seems like they may get a bunch of door dash to go orders so they just give them whatever. I saw a lot of happy faced, dining patrons in the 5 min I was there who were dining in. However, I felt like damn for that price, I couldn't get hot food?!
I am also used to the saag dishes being made with spinach and cream. What was that I got bc it def did not have cream? I loved that it was a lot of spinach but there was no cream! And it did not have any spices. It was bland and flavorless. I was shocked. I eat Indian food all the time. I would have let the no silverware and cold food go had it tasted great. But. Mehhh.
It was extra mid to me for the price 🤷🏿♀️. It was not the worst Indian Food I have tried, but I will definitely try all the other Indian places in Naples before I go back here again!
The lady who took my order was friendly and the guy who took my card and brought me my order was also friendly. I did leave a nice...
Read moreRecent review: Tried again. Chicken tikka masala was good. Balance of flavor and spice.
Lamb Rogan was tough and chewy but manageable with flavor. Really love the flavor but not chewy bits of meat.
Chicken saag was INEDIBLE. Sauce was nice but the chicken was woody. Imagine chewing on uncooked chicken. Had a crunch but was cooked. Usually a sign of fatty breast, or lack of quality. Not necessarily bad meat…. Just quality wasn’t there. Which is a shame. I could eat some sauce and rice but two pieces of chicken just killed the meal. Glad I had a variety at least.
Oringial review: Heavy on SPICE, Light on substance...
Felt the spice was there, but not enough meat/protein to make it a substantial meal for the value. Enough rice on the side, but I am not one that wants to drown rice in sauce. A good balance of meat, sauce and rice should balance out.
The spices were heavy and the heat was there, just not very flavorful. Chicken was a good sized chunk, lamb was only a couple of oversized pieces, but dry.
Saving grace was the Chili Paneer. Loads of flavor, perfect balance of spice and additional veggies, and could hold its own as a main vs just an appetizer. Would easily eat this again and maybe try one or two other dishes if in the mood. I like to try every place once, and this was my first. I will try it again, just after one or two more first experiences at...
