Order 3 sandwiches 16.50 each ok. 2 chicken parm subs 16.50 each ok
Order 1 prosciutto sandwich with mozzarella cheese 16.50. Then a surcharge on the same sandwich for prosciutto, of 6.50 -23.00 for a sandwich? So the bread and cheese cost 16.50 and the meat is extra? Then, i asked for 4 canolli ( as i always did when i stopped in) and was told "we dont have canolli" I had been supporting this store since the early 2000s vinnie made you feel like you were in your uncles kitchen. I go in today, as I'm now on vacation (moved back up north) and kids want me to stop.at "cousin vinnies" for sandwiches and cannolis. overcharged on the sandwich. No canolis. And PAPER THIN MOZZARELLA! Vinnie always used fresh wet mozzarella that he would.slice and put on the sandwich. Looks like skimp on quality of a good name while exploiting the name vinnie had placed on the community. Nothing more than a import food version of a Publix. Took a gold mine and ruined it. Go to marios in ft myers. They say all good things come to an end, Well when vinnie sold or retired, they did. Vinnie was an upholding staple in that Plaza. New owners need to understand cutting costs and skimping on quality hurts businesses. I normally don't mind paying more as long as the food quality is good, but today I overpaid in more ways than one.
Naples will miss you vinnie,!!!!!!!
Follow up!! Was told to call with time stamp and amount and staff would refund me completely. I called today Friday, June 28th at 138 pm and was told that kimberly(owner) won't be back til Monday. I guess I'm gonna have to take all copies of correspondence to my bank and file a dispute. I call and follow directions given, and now told that (basically) no one can help with refund except for Kimberly.
Follow up #2. As of Saturday July 6th 2024, STILL no return of funds/refund. I am still waiting for the refund.

Read moreAs I sit here and digest my very first Neopolitan Gourmet’s famous Italian hero sandwich, I honestly feel guilty knowing I paid far too little for what was, without question, the largest and most delicious sandwich I have ever eaten in all of Florida. (I also feel like I should probably put on sweatpants and cancel any plans I had for the evening, but that’s beside the point). How is it that I basically paid a little over ten bucks for enough food to feed a needy village? It’s like I should drive back up there and offer them more money. But as the pound and a half of premium cold cuts and the entire loaf of bread it came on works its way through my system, I’m thinking a long nap is going to come before any act of reparation.
Be warned, this is not fast food, it’s an amazing work of art made to order. If you are one of those impatient, foot-tapping, self-entitled snowbirds who’s late for pickleball, go to Subway. You deserve each other.
Anyway, aside from sandwiches that will make you drop to your knees and weep with joy when you think of them months later, this place has just the right selection of imported Italian lunch meat by the pound, imported Italian goodies, and what appears to be homemade sauce and pastas. Being my first time, I only got the sandwich and some lunch meat, but based upon the amazing quality of those, I can’t believe everything else isn’t nearly perfect, and I’m looking forward to returning.
Oh, and I can’t wait to try the homemade mozzarella either. Of course I’ll have to wait until Amazon delivers my bigger, stretchier sweatpants before I make that trip, but it’s a burden I am...
Read moreSo I randomly popped in this place because I was wanting a good sandwich and I remember seeing this place when I was dining close to here. I've lived in Naples for 18 years and have been a lot of different places for a lot of different foods. First thing that caught my eye was the fact that they make legitimate fig cookies. I grew up in an Italian household and married in Italian woman many years later so I like to think I've been around some damn good Italian food. They did have a limited menu but it is very understandable since we are just barely a week or so away from just having the worst hurricane in US history. I ordered their most popular item, the Italian sandwich with light red wine vinegar. I'm sitting here now trying to finish the second half but it is legitimately the freshest most delicious sandwich I have had from a real deli in this area. Very cordial and nice people working here. I would suggest this place to anybody if they're looking for a good sandwich. The bread is phenomenal. I know some Italian places you have to tear the bread hoping you don't lose a tooth but this bread is soft slightly chewy and just perfect. Kudos for these guys for being open and feeding the public and if you're in the neighborhood, definitely come down and give...
