I’ve been a loyal Einstein Bros. customer for over 20 years with mostly great experiences. On October 7, I ordered three toasted bagels to go at this location with no issue. But just a few days later, when I asked for the same thing, the manager, Joshua, refused in a very unprofessional way. I was calm and simply asking why the policy had changed, but Joshua got visibly upset because I was “talking too much.” I actually gave him time to respond while he struggled to explain, but his behavior felt like that of a frustrated child rather than a manager. Eventually, he said, “I was going to say yes, but you keep talking — so now it’s no.” The store wasn’t busy, and his dismissive attitude was disappointing. Customers deserve better communication and respect.
Update: received what appears as a generic reply from what it states as owner. Not surprised because it went to regional owner and not surprisingly there was no follow up as the store manager stated “ it was the regional manager/ owner who trained them and it is his policy” leadership speaks volume, if I can lower 1 star to 0 … probably worth it if they use your Einstein name as independent owner with poor customer service...
Read moreI don't know if it was a fluke or if the standards have gone in the toilet but this was a horrible visit. When we went in there were no other customer orders. The screen behind the register and the work station both were empty. We ordered a dozen bagels and a third of the case was empty 2 hours after they'd open. We also ordered a sandwich and 2 coffees. The hot coffee tasted like water. The iced coffee took 10 minutes. They started getting busy... after 3 people that came after us received their orders, I inquired about the sandwich. Instead of owning up and saying sorry we forgot it one of the people said "well it's going to be a while because we're really busy". Another lady said she had to make eggs. I watched and it was the very next sandwich they made with eggs that were already done.That is not acceptable customer service. I have been going there for over 4 years with no problem until Maey got involved. I have over 60 employees that frequent this store. NO MORE. Dunkin D. opened a block away and will be getting our business until changes are made. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION. Food good, service unacceptable.
