Price is a little higher than comparables, but the places I can compare it to are not as close to where we live. (Price v convenience?) The pizza itself is larger than most places. “NY style” as some people say, but IMO not true NY style since the base of the crust wasn’t as thin as a true NY style pizza - which you can easily fold and hardly holds itself together. Not a negative for me though. The sauce/cheese ratio was good. I think the sauce could use a touch of sugar to balance the acidity, but that’s my opinion. The crust tasted fresh. It was soft and chewy on the outside border. I prefer this type of crust over the crunchy, dry crust that some other shops use/make. Will definitely return!

Pizza slice was 3 dollars and very small. Owner is very friendly and treats you like a friend. Was this the best tasting pizza I have had in Nashua? Absolutely, the dough was great. Good quality cheese, sauce was on the light side.

Best pizza around! I don’t bother getting it anywhere else cause nothing compares. Definitely recommend!

The founder of Lotus Cars, Colin Chapman, once famously said "Simplify, then add lightness". His minimalist philosophy was a differentiating factor in the automotive industry, and I think of Espresso Pizza as being the Lotus of the local pizza market. How can a minimalist approach be beneficial to pizza? I will explain by examining the three main components of a pizza - the crust, the sauce, and the toppings.

The crust - This is the substrate, the foundation on top of which your pizza is built, and is crucial. Espresso Pizza's crust is genuine, lightweight, crunchy when it needs, and wonderfully soft (yet not dough-y). It's a straightforward Italian style bread recipe with tricks or gimmicks, just good bread that is baked to perfection. It's clearly not hand tossed or sheeted out in a machine but rather worked by hand, making the thickness of the pizza consistent. It's strong enough to stand rigid by holding the crust yet does not deliver a tooth-shattering experience when consuming. Perfect.

The sauce - The interface layer between the crust and the toppings is vitally important, as it carries with it the undertones and secondary flavors you will be enjoying as you eat your pizza. The sauce is simple, where you can distinctly pick out individual flavors such as the taste of the tomatoes and spices, and it does not overpower the taste of the toppings. Instead, the spice blend used by Espresso accentuates the toppings, as a good sauce is meant to do. Again, perfect.

The toppings - This is why we eat pizza, right? So it stands to reason to use good quality, flavorful toppings! Again, Espresso doesn't fail to deliver on this point. At the first bite of my first piece of Espresso Pizza it was obvious that simple, fresh, high quality toppings were being used. The cheese is REAL mozzarella, as in it has a distinctive taste and is not the flavorless white plastic matter used on countless other pizzas. If someone complains about the taste of Espresso Pizza, it's likely because they are expecting the flavorless white plastic and do not understand that real mozzarella cheese actually tastes like something. The pepperoni is not greasy and has loads of flavor without being overpowering. Same can be said for the sausage. Even the two together on the same do not make for a greasy mess. Sure, I wouldn't complain if there were more toppings on the pizzas, but as things are you wind up getting a really nice, well balanced pizza.

The price of a single topping pizza is something like $13, which is a bargain especially when you consider what you get. The inside of the shop isn't the swankiest place you've ever been, but, it is clean, well lit, and functional. I wouldn't hesitate to take my family here to dine in. The owner is a really nice, outgoing guy who is rightfully proud of his creations. Espresso Pizza is overshadowed by some of the more fancy places on Main Street, but if you're looking for perfect, simple, straightforward pizza you can't beat it. I have eaten pizza from all over the world and strongly recommend you...

I ended up resenting pizza overtime because of how it would make me feel afterwards, I wouldn't even have an appetite to finish my crust since I would feel bloated, gassy, and just sick. However, my boyfriend had been in the mood for Espresso pizza one night telling me how much of a favorite this place is to him and how it tastes just like New York Pizza. I ended up eating the entire pizza (including the crust) within minutes when trying. I had wondered to myself, what they put in the pizza to make it taste so LIGHT and FRESH and sooo good. After finishing the pizza, the box itself had barley ANY GREASE markings on the parchment paper. I am a person who likes to eat very clean and healthy and when I went in to order pizza again one night, I had such a nice conversation with the owner/pizza maker and he informed me that he uses only clean ingredients and a minimum amount of oil. This place is absolutely delicious and I will be coming here religiously from now on and...

A Friend ,& I just shared a large Hawaiian New York Style Pizza with a couple more toppings the only thing good was the Dough Crust, & Dr.Pepper in a can that wasn't opened. Not to mention that the Establishment was not keeped at all you could notice a very unsettling stench the smelled of cat urine as if there were cats living in the Establishment. The quality didn't by any means possible match what his Service that was being displayed, nowadays when people go out , it's really way more expensive than what it was a year ago, & want to be able to have a great memory to be left with, as well a full belly to go with. I'll not be frequenting Express Pizza in Downtown, Nashua, NH. Nor shall I refer anyone else to this establishment. Not even sure just how this place has remained open with this type of business. I do not recommend anyone to go to...
