India Palace — Restaurant in Nashua

This is the date and time which is mentioned in my receipt, normally I don't write online reviews but this time I couldn't stop my self to share my experience.

In last 6 months I have visited this restaurant 4 times and every time my experience got more and more worst in terms of food taste and interms of staff's greeting and services.

During my last visit on 12th January when we entered the restaurant front desk guy 1st asked question how many people "no greeting or no welcoming " after I replied 2 he guide us to the table in left side room of the restaurant where he wanted us to sit but I request him to either turn on the heater or please make us sit in the room which is in right side of the restaurant b'coz heater is on in that room. I asked because my wife was feeling cold so we wanted sit in the room where heater was on. On this request guy got mad and he bang the water glass on the table. Which really made me upset and I felt like being scared. After that we ordered food, in that the paratha was just okay. But problem was in the vegetable biryani it was like old he just heated up and gave us. I told my reviews to the guy at the time of leaving but aftet a week I realized that my input will not reach to the owner of restaurant. So I should post online.

Another complaint is they didn't give 50% off what they shows online you can see the receipt what time he generates the bill at 3:00 pm so that means we were there befor 3 pm, and offer says 50% off during 12 to 3 for dine in. But guy didn't gave discount.

and it will be my last experience, after having this bad experience I will never go to this restaurant.

In my last words, I should say in Hindi - "इंडिया से बाहर आकर रेस्टोरेंट ओपन कर लिया पर अपने अंदर से अपना देसी बिहेवियर...

Amazing authentic Indian food! I've eaten here probably 20 times in the past 10 months, for both the buffet and for dinner service, and have never experienced anything even remotely close to what some of the reviews suggest. Staff are always on point, quick to greet you, and are attentive to your needs.

The food is from fresh ingredients and is always properly spiced. New visitors who appreciate heat in their food might want to try spicy dishes at 'medium' first as it has a bit of a kick. Even when spicy foods are ordered 'hot', the heat does not detract from the flavor which is always complex and layered as good Indian food should be. But, expect 'hot' to bring forth beads of sweat upon your brow! As for pricing, I find the menu to be fairly priced. Expect to spend around $40 for a dinner for two with an appetizer.

Folks complaining about gastric distress should understand what cumin and turmeric do in people who have inflammation issues (hint: it can give you the trots - see your doctor). I've never had cold, bland, or the wrong food served to me here and I am very skeptical of some of the reviews given to India Palace. The restaurant is always clean, too, even during lunch rush. Sure, there are some bits of paint or wallpaper missing around some of the tables along walls, but I am pretty sure it is from idiot diners bringing in their feral children who, largely unsupervised, are beating the walls with various toys made of high impact plastic. Plates and flatware are always spotless, as are the tables (yes, I look at these things).

Rude, incompetent, don't care...

I've eaten here around 10 times. Food is always acceptable if rather expensive for what is ultimately 50% rice. Last time we ordered take-out their app said the order would be ready in 20 minutes. I arrived 25 minutes later and was told it was almost ready but some items I ordered were out. Fine, no problem, we settled on substitutions. I did not get my food for another 35 minutes. Maybe it was a busier night than it looked but the place was deserted and I only saw 4 other take out orders picked up in that time. Finally I got my food, checked my order by quickly reaching in and counting containers and left. Once home I found I was missing one entire entree and the substitution of fries for the three fruit cups ended up being a single small serving of fries that I had mistaken for the missing entree container. This is no big deal, my wife tried to call but nobody picked up the phone. We made do with the food we got and sent an email. They called the next day and were rude, essentially called my wife a liar (literally said "well someone is lying") and told her they would check the cameras.... about a missing entree... We didn't even complain about the absurdly small quantity of substituted food. No refund for the missing item (nothing is cheap here...) no follow-up. Their waitstaff are bizarre, eating in is uncomfortable because of awkward staring staff, food is only okay. Some items are an absolute joke (don't order a salad here). Time to explore other local...
