Horrible service came with my family bought a family meal and boba drinks for everyone. Staff seemed annoyed when we asked questions about the different drinks. The cashier and one other girl behind her saw us curious about different drinks and boba flavors and did not take any opportunity to be helpful or make suggestions they were hesitant to give us any feed back. Instead seemed cold and bothered we were even asking questions . When our drinks came my two youngest took one sip of their drinks and absolutely hated it . So i asked the cashier if we could have them make something else she replied “ we don’t exchange drinks!” I told her I would gladly pay for them. I purchased two more drinks in addition to the 90$ worth of food we bought. When she took our order she asked if we would be dining there. We told her yes and when our food came out they did not even offer us any sort of plate or anything for our food. When my husband asked the girl for plates she said looked annnoyed and confused and was like “ugh i have four of these “and handed him four small cardboard food containers when she absolutely saw we needed more. And that there was a giant pile behind her. The chicken was good. We ordered a 12 piece family meal the sides were so tiny i couldn’t believe it . I had to order additional food . Which they seemed annoyed about also. They had absolutely no sense of customer service or any sense of taking care of their customers. Especially new customers .Also my daughter noticed after asking the man cooking the food for a to go box he had gross dirty fingernails. (He did wear gloves while cooking) The boba was good. I’m so disappointed it was such an...
Read moreBoy did these guys do fried Chicken well! You can get it mild you can get it original or you can get it hot and spicy which I had.from what I'm used to the hot and spicy was actually pretty tame overall but it was so crispy chicken was so juicy you know for fast food, it was fantastic. I also ordered the sweet potato fries.Lisa not like the orange ones that you usually see in a lot of casual type restaurants these fries were kind of a yellowish color kind of reminded me a little bit of Yukon gold but they had the sweet potato flavor and they were just absolutely fantastic. I'd not eaten there before so what I ended up ordering I did kind of piece meal in other words a breast couple of thighs things like that. Now I learned real fast that doing it that way makes it a hell of a lot more expensive basically a meal for three that I assembled came out to about $43. If I had done a family meal for three it would have been probably summer in the vicinity of less than $12. Still overall no matter what that price was it was worth it.don't have to worry about going to Popeyes or KFC for fried chicken now after finding this place and it's right down the street from me. They do also sell the bubble tea forgot to add that, but I don't really drink the bubble tea too much because I find the tapioca pearls for some reason upset my stomach I don't know why maybe because they're full of coconut oil/Palm oil, or something like that which does upset my stomach.I probably will be more willing to try one of the milk teas, which I think are better. For fast food an absolutely...
Read moreI was severely bummed when they stopped serving TKK chicken recently. I just don't think enough people knew about it or realized it was the best fried chicken in the area. With that said, I tried the new pho business yesterday and was absolutely blown away. I'm not even bummed about the loss of tkk (maybe a little still).
The pho travels better than any I've ever seen. They package it in a way that gives the solid components plenty of room to breathe, instead of shoving it into a little Chinese takeout box like most places. The noodles are also heartier than you usually get. The result is that you don't have that big block of mushy noodle that you get from so many takeout pho places. You get generous chunks of substantial chicken and all the fixings you'd expect at a pho place. The flavors were amazing and I just felt warm and content after eating it.
The banh mi was awesome. It's very easy to produce a bland banh mi that ends up being like eating a plain loaf of French bread. Not here. They put plenty of stuff in there and use a mayo that tastes great.
The pork egg rolls were awesome. Best egg-roll-type thing I've had in the area. Do yourself a favor and grab one in the car if you're picking up; they were still good when I got home, but they were awesome fresh. I wasn't thrilled with the rice plate I got, but for someone who wants heavy veggies and white rice with just a little meat, you might like it more than I did.
I can't recommend this more highly. I think I'll end up getting pho twice a week now....
