I bought my first pair of quads here on January 16, 2024, I walked in and was immediately greeted by the owner's husband (Eric). He was helpful and explained all my options, showed me one pair of skates before the current pair I have. I wasn't digging the leather skates, so I settled on the suede. I ended up leaving with a pair of Moxi Lollis. It was the best money I have ever spent. I have never enjoyed roller skating as much as I have, now that I have my own skates. I want to thank the folks of this establishment so very much for everything you folks did for me. Best money I have ever spent. Eric even changed out my wheels for me, no charge. They can and will change your wheels if you bring them in, they do not charge for this (if I understood what was said to me clearly). This is a great place; I encourage everyone to go check this place out. I also want to say, I met the owner herself (Dee). Absolute sweetheart. She was not working when I ran into her, and she stopped to talk to me, and we talked about B.B. I told her she has a great thing and I hope she never goes away. I would be very heartbroken. I’m new to roller derby and decided to purchase my gear from here because they had packages that included the skates, pads, etc. at a decent price. The pads were also customizable in terms of sizes. You could pick which helmet and pads you wanted at an additional price depending on your choices. Shipping was pretty fast and they did an amazing job keeping me updated about the order. The toe stops I ordered were not in stock at the time I ordered and they let me know of other options or if I wanted to wait for the toe stops I initially chose. I did have some sizing issues with the pads, but Casey helped out tremendously through email. Very fast responses and super helpful when talking through other options for pads and their sizing. I had to return the pads and wait for the new pads to come in but it was not a long wait, maybe a week or two. To my surprise also, my toe stops came with the new pads so I was very excited! I'll start off by saying, this is kind of a second hand review as I know little about rollerskating and less about derby. But, went with my wife who is into both and found the staff to be polite and courteous. Sales person happily laced up a half a dozen pairs of skates for my wife to try and still encouraged her to try on more. I was pretty amazed at the customer service. No idea how the prices compare, I didn't look too deep into it, but the price was $10 less than Amazon and the addded bonuses of being in tax free New Hampshire, being able to pick your wheels and toe stops and being appropriately sized by someone who understands what they are doing. As much as I love shopping online I highly encourage folks starting out to get their first pair here. My wife wound up being in severly oversized skates for over a year buying her first set online.
