The menu here has some very interesting options, but we went with some old standbys- the steakhouse burger and fish & chips, complimented by Irish Nachos (kettle chips topped with cheese, sour cream, bacon, and green onion). The nachos were great, and are served with the house-made catsup (not to be missed- it really is very very good). Both the burger and accompanying tots were outstanding, easily being one of the best burgers I’ve ever had in my 50+ years on this planet. While a bit messy, it was messy for the right reasons (a juicy patty), with each component serving as the right complement to each other.
The fish and chips were served in a basket wrapped in newspaper shaped like a purse- very cool, and similar to way I’ve seen them served in the UK. The batter was light and fries crispy- easily in the top 5 fish and chips my wife has ever had. Complemented by a house made tartar sauce and vinegar, she very much enjoyed the dish.
The only very minor downside is the obvious discontent of the service team working there. Our waitress was nice enough to us, but the body language and attitudes of the visible team members left an impression that they were not happy to be there, and it is obvious (and strained) enough to be an odd counterpoint to what was otherwise a very good experience.

Read moreDining at The Peddler’s Daughter was a truly memorable experience. Located in the heart of Nashua, this cozy Irish pub offers a perfect blend of authentic atmosphere, hearty food, and genuine hospitality. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm and rustic interior—it felt like stepping into a traditional pub in Ireland.
The service was prompt and welcoming. Our server was not only friendly, but also very helpful when it came to menu suggestions. I started with the Irish onion soup, which was rich, flavorful, and topped with perfectly melted cheese. For the main course, I had the classic fish and chips, and I can confidently say it was among the best I’ve ever had. The batter was light and crispy, the cod was fresh, and the homemade tartar sauce complemented the dish beautifully.
My friend tried the shepherd’s pie and was equally impressed—comforting, savory, and clearly made with care. We also enjoyed a couple of pints of Guinness, which were poured perfectly.
The ambiance, complete with live Irish music in the background, added to the charm of the evening. Whether you're looking for a casual drink or a full meal, The Peddler’s Daughter delivers a fantastic experience. I’ll definitely be...
Read moreThis place is why every other race and culture makes fun of white people food. It was the most bland and boring food I've consumed. We ordered a large variety of items and each one was pretty much as disappointing as the last. We got corned beef quesadillas, the chips and curry, 3 different types of burgers, Scotch eggs, a chicken sandwich, and fried pickles. The biggest offender was the burgers, they tasted like nothing, like the patties had been boiled in water and every part of its potential had been stripped away. I even removed the bread thinking it was washing out the flavor. No, it wasn't, the beef just had no taste and the addition of bacon couldn't even help it. My partner who ordered an extra patty on his cheeseburger confirmed this, and my child said, "at least they are culturally accurate". My take away from the entire experience is that the reason the house ketchup (which I will give a thumbs up) is so exciting is because it's the only thing that offers flavor. The beer was fine but it did take a really long time for my partner to get his Guinness. Perhaps they were swapping kegs out? All and all I do not understand how this place has such high reviews. Maybe we went on...
