We came to Brewhouse West at 230 on a rainy Sunday in March.  The place was packed, but still had tables available.   It's seat yourself, so we grabbed a table and got comfy.

If you've never been before, Broadway Brewhouse and Mojo Grill has 3 locations- Broadway, Vanderbilt and Charlotte West past the Walmart.  All three serve a mix of Tex-Mex and Cajun food.  It's all well prepared and tastes great.

Im familiar with the Vanderbilt location  by Vanderbilt having eaten many lunches there.  This crowd was here for drinks, not eats.  Every table was drinking- only one other was eating.  Our server didn't even offer food menus when she came over!

We had a Big Daddy Burrito - smoked chicken, black beans, and rice smothered in queso- and the Texas Quesadillas- Monterey Jack melted with tender smoked beef brisket.   Both were huge portions.  The food came out quickly- I'm pretty sure they had to wake the chef! For drinks we had Dark and Stormys served in the copper cups. Delish!

As expected Brewhouse West was excellent and I will be back.

Update: Since the above review I've visited the Midtown location and discovered some differences. Midtown doesn't have the Brisket Quesadilla and their brisket sandwich isn't as flavorful, tender or juicy. On the other hand, Midtown's slaw is better - a creamy, spicy concoction of sheer goodness. West tastes and looks like what they serve at...

I have never experienced a lack of customer service like this. I hadn't had anything to eat all day, then I came in and ordered the Cajun Sampler. The next day, I had food poisoning and lost an entire day of work. I called and simply asked to have the Item taken off my receipt (that's all!) The manager asked the district manager and this was his reply. I'll let you be the judge: "We spoke on the phone briefly yesterday. So I talked to my boss to see what he wanted to do about the situation just because I, in my four years I haven't experienced any issues with food poisoning here or anything. Um, and so basically the way he put it was, um, if, if we had more customers that did experience the food poisoning because we do sell quite a bit of that sampler and we haven't received any complaints or anything. Um, there would be, you know, something we could do about it but just with, you know, no, uh proof or anything like that, he just said that there's not really anything we can do to refund you. Um, if you do have any questions or concerns, feel free to call back at this number. Um, and I do apologize that, you know, I mean, this is, if it were up to me, I would probably go ahead and, you know, offer you a free appetizer or something like that, but this is coming from above me and there's just not much I can do about it and I apologize and feel free to reach out if you want to have...

I have never been so offended and disgusted with human behavior in my life like I have been with the people that work and frequent this establishment. In particular the bartender named Raven, One of those people that makes her own rules based on her own judgment. All I wanted was my chicken tender salad that I Ordered and paid for legitimately. When I confronted her with what was not my order, it was just chicken tenders, she took the worst attitude with me off the bat just because she didn’t like the way that I looked. If I had judged her on her looks, believe me, I would not have even ordered food from this place, however I just wanted a salad after a hard days work which she refused to give me, and in addition took away the chicken tenders that I was given and wouldn’t give them back. I wasn’t looking for anything for free, I even offered to pay for a whole new chicken tender salad, and she refused to give it to me. I never once raised my voice, and I asked kindly to please be able to leave with what I had paid for. Not only did I leave empty-handed but she encouraged the belligerent drunk bar crowd to gang up on me and threaten me in such a manner that I felt like I needed to leave for my own safety. This place really should be shut down and not be allowed to operate. As long as it does operate, I can guarantee the the best display of discusting humanity you’ve ever seen or...

I have been to the South location a few times and finally had a chance to visit this one because Bryan won’t shut up about it. First of all, Makensi (spelling?) is awesome! Great server, super friendly. Would go back just for her even if they screwed up all my food. But the staff didn’t mess up. I really enjoyed the food. They even let me bring in fresh baked cookies because I shared it with them. Ali did a great job dealing with the large, noisy group of heathens I brought in. She was patient, quick, helpful and had a good sense of humor since we’re all five year olds. It deserves five stars, but there’s too much smoke.

Brewhouse West is my go-to spot. I’m here a couple times a week and it never disappoints! The food is fantastic, with daily specials featuring off-menu gems that pack a delicious Cajun flair. Karaoke every Friday at 9 PM is a blast, and I love the Music Bingo on Tuesdays at 7:30 PM and Trivia on Wednesdays at 7:30 PM for some midweek fun. It’s the perfect place to meet friendly locals or hang out with friends, but the real stars are the staff—John Luke, Darla, and Sara are absolutely amazing and make every visit feel like home. If you’re looking for great vibes and even better service, this is the place to be!
