Teriyaki Madness — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

The food at Teriyaki Madness is absolutely wonderful! However, there is a big problem with this location. Many months ago, my husband and I went there and there was a smell of sewer that was very off putting. We ate inside there anyway, but I mentioned to my husband that I wouldn't go back as the smell was bad. He is a plumber and told me he thought perhaps a floor drain trap needs to be primed (water poured into it) or a vent leak. We didn't return for many months and today I went back with a friend. The food, again, is still very very good, but there is still a lingering odor (not quite as bad, but still there). Buyer beware! If you receive email offers from TMAD, do not assume the local franchisee will honor them. This is the third time in about 6 months the West Nashville location has refused to honor an offer through the app and they make no effort in-store to do a discount for the customer's inconvenience. Considering that corporations can and do target emails by location, TMAD is fully aware that some of these offers will not be honored and they send them out anyway. I consider that to be misleading and false advertising.... not to mention poor customer service by the local manager who should be apologizing and trying to make it right with the customer, which he refuses to do. Ordered 2 bowls online from this location. One for myself and one for my nephew. I’ve ordered from this location 4-5 times prior and loved it! However, I found a melted large piece of plastic in my food. I emailed the teriyaki contact address to alert them of this, and they told me the manager/owner would contact me shortly. It’s been over a week with no response.

This very well could’ve been a choking hazard for a child or my young nephew, but it seems the owner of this location isn’t too concerned with cooking and serving plastic in their bowls.
