China Moon — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

I placed an order for delivery on a Wednesday night around 5:20. The expected delivery was 45 mins. It was delivered at 6:30, not a big deal. The food was still hot, but I did not receive the correct order. I had ordered shrimp lo mein and chicken and mushrooms. I received chicken lo mein and chicken and broccoli.

I called China Moon back to request an exchange. After I explained the situation and let them know I'd be happy to give the uneaten food back, they placed me on hold. I was on hold for 5 mins, taken off hold, then the call ended. I called back and let them know I was the person waiting on hold. The lady I was previously speaking with told me I had ordered the broccoli chicken and chicken lo mein. I told them that I did not order that and I have not ate any of the food and I would appreciate if they exchanged the food and I would even pay for the difference if I wasn't charged.

The woman then passed me off to a different lady and I had to explain what the issue was again. She proceeded to tell me that I had to have ordered what I received because the two meals are completely different. I agreed that yes they are two completely different meals, but I did order the shrip and mushroom and was willing to pay the difference if I wasn't charged for it. They then agreed to exchange the food but asked if I would bring the food back to them. I told them that the entire reason I wanted delivery was because I did not want to leave the house. The woman eventually agreed to deliver my corrected order. After waiting over an hour they showed back up at 8:00pm. The bag was completely drenched in sauce along with everything inside. Needless to say I am never ever ever ever going to give them...

We have only been living here in Nashville for 2 years I remember our very first time we went in there & ordered food from them to go..we have a household of 6 so We had a decent size order so its not suprising that something was forgotten in our order. I called them up & told them they they forgot to put our Pint of Shrimp Lomain in the Bag. I thought since it was closing time that we were going to get a tough luck attitude from them or they ask to come back tomorrow & pick the Lomain or a refund but I was actually Surprised by them .. They were really cool about it they asked for our address & less than 15 minutes later they were knocking on our Door Delivering FOR FREE & YES Perhaps it was their mistake for not having it in the bag in the first place..We ordered a .bunch of stuff I looked around in the bags Quickly I assumed it was all there until we got home so it was kinda our fault to in a way. We always check our bags better now especially at fast food drive thru like Taco Bell...But I recommend them We usually get take out from them at least every couple weeks from China Moon its REALLY GREAT!! 🤗 I believe they are on Grub Hub I think I saw a sign on the door I like to go shopping at Ollie's when I wait...

I live pretty close to this location. My family orders take out and delivery a couple times a month. The food is always delicious but the customer service is quite inconsistent. A few months ago, we ordered take out. It was a weekend and it was pretty busy but when we arrived to pick up our order, nothing was ready. We ended up waiting nearly 35 minutes for out take out order. Last night, we ordered delivery. After about an hour, I called to check on it. The response was, "It's almost on the way". I waited another 30 minutes. Called again and was told to hold while they called the driver. My call was disconnected. I waited a few more minutes and called again. A man answered this time but by then the doorbell was ringing. Finally! Our food had arrived. We mentioned to the delivery driver that we had been waiting an hour and a half and he apologized and said he had just gotten our food. It was evident that he was telling the truth as our food was piping hot. Chinese food is a pretty quick thing to cook. It seems like they hadn't even started our meals until I call and hour after placing our order. Such a shame. We really enjoy the food here but we are considering exploring other options in the area...
