China Wok — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

Walked in after a long day of work paying $50 for my food and was shocked by a burning fire smell. Usually little tucked away Chinese places are delicious so I still wanted to try it. I got home, pulled out my food - only to find soggy wet sweet and sour chicken. & lo mein with black burnt bits in it. Since I am a reasonable person, and could see this was a bit of a rush hour- I was willing to give them a chance to resolve it. I called and spoke with the nice woman at the register. She said wait let me get you with my manager. The manager said you can bring the food back, let us inspect it, and we will remake it for you if it is true. I started getting ready to drive 20 mins back to the restaurant. THEN I receive a phone call from a man. He said since I didn’t order the sweet and sour chicken crispy- the female manager said they would not remake the food for me. So no this place is not Quality or reputable. Would not recommend to my worst enemy! Shame on them for charging for trash then not being true to their word. A person whose word cannot be trusted is down in the lowest levels of humanity there is. Just now picked up Brandon’s Doordash order at 7:25pm here today. Why when the employee working the cash register got the order for me, did she like have an attitude and picked the bag of food up from behind the counter and just dropped it on the front counter in her effort to give it to me. No biggie if that’s just how she is, then it is. A bit disrespectful to do. However, all is well but I could have and started to just grab it from behind the counter myself. I am saying something because I’ve started noticing this type of thing here since I’ve been in Nashville, since this past early June. Well, I see from here on out I would rather go on and grab the orders from behind the counter than take chance and have it just about thrown down or set down with attitude. Ordered food online for delivery. Took over an hour to get here and we live 3 miles away. I called multiple times to check on the status of the order and was told by the young guy who answered the phone "we are just really busy right now it could be another hour I dont know. I'm really stressed out right now and can't take anymore calls so I'm just going to give this to a manager so here you go." Completely unprofessional!!! Before he took my call he had me "on hold" where I heard him take another phone order and he told them 15 minutes. But he told me an hour when I had already been waiting an hour?!
