Double the Thrill: An Unforgettable Back-to-Back Escape Room Adventure – “Zombie” & “Spellbound” Experience.
If you're looking for an adrenaline-charged, story-rich escape room experience that leaves you talking about the experience for days, look no further as you have been lucky enough to find a real gem of a destination. To start we just completed two escape rooms back-to-back – “Zombie” and “Spellbound” – and both were absolutely phenomenal in their own very unique ways. Solomon did a phenomenal job hosting us and preparing us for success. We particularly enjoyed the house rules lol.
🧟 ZOMBIE – Heart-Pounding Chaos
This room threw us straight into crazy survival mode instincts from the very first second. Imagine being locked in a building with creepy noises and a live zombie thrashing in chains in the room just feet away, all while a countdown was counting down ominously in the background. The atmosphere? Spectacularly Electric. Every detail – from flickering lights, super cool decorations on the walls, and eerie audio cues from Solomon – pulled us deeper and deeper into the apocalyptic world and story line.
What made Zombie so intense wasn’t just the theme; it was the live actor (yes, a real live zombie!) who escalated the tension at an incredible rate as we failed to solve a puzzle quickly enough. The puzzles themselves were cleverly integrated into the narrative which was super intense as you try not to get “infected.” We were literally racing for our lives while our brains were scrambled with fear as we tried to escape.
This room was the perfect blend of fear and fun, and the teamwork it demanded brought out the best (and funniest) in all of us.
Overall we all had sweaty-palms, and a heart-racing brilliance experience.
🧙♀️🧛 SPELLBOUND – Enchantingly Immersive
After escaping the zombie apocalypse, we were whisked into an entirely different realm with Spellbound, and WOW – talk about a tonal shift done right. This room was visually stunning, like walking onto the set of a fantasy film. Think dusty spellbooks, glowing candles, ancient runes, and secret passageways that you can only find by solving mysterious puzzles.
The story? A dark alliance between witches and vampires threatens to plunge the world into eternal darkness, and it’s up to you to break the enchantment and make sure that a Vampire is not released . This room oozed mystical atmosphere, but what truly set it apart was the puzzle variety – riddles that required logic, tactile spellcasting sequences, and even light-based challenges that made us feel like real magical apprentices. The layering of tasks was masterfully done, with each solution unlocking deeper secrets of the realm.
And yes – Spellbound had its own theatrical twist, with moments that genuinely surprised us and a finale that felt like the climax of a movie where we saved the world. If Zombie was a sprint for survival, Spellbound was a narrative-rich journey that sparked our imagination through the use of an immersive experience.
🎉 Final Verdict:
Doing Zombie and Spellbound back-to-back was the ultimate one-two punch of escape room perfection. One hit hard with tension and physicality; the other charmed with mystery and magic. Both were flawlessly designed, with attentive game masters, immersive set design, and puzzles that struck the ideal balance between fear, challenge, and fun.
Whether you're a horror fan, a fantasy nerd, or just someone who loves clever, cinematic puzzles – these two rooms are a MUST. We laughed, we screamed, we cast spells and dodged zombies… and we’d do it all over again in a heartbeat.
This was a 10/10 experience. Book them both back-to-back if you can. Trust us – you won’t regret it!

Read moreWe have done 14 escape rooms so far and this has to be one of our all time favorite escape venues. Solomon was our Game Master and he was intuitive while still keeping it incredibly challenging! We would absolutely drive the 5 hours to do another escape room here in the future!
Spellbound would be the best set design and puzzle collection we have done yet! It had many elements we had not yet encountered and the moment you walk through the door, you are transported to another place. You literally forget you're in a building! We had a team of five and every one of us set out to different tasks and challenges coming back together to reconvene and figure out the next steps. We ultimately were successful in finding the lair and vanquishing the vampire king! This escape room was next level!
Zombie had an element we had never experienced before, live actors in the room with us! This room is a unique room of pressure, distraction, fear of the unknown, physical activity and perplexing puzzles. Not only are you searching for clues to solve the puzzles, you are dodging a live zombie so as not to get infected while he is given more and more chain link to increase his range to reach you. This room requires the ability to focus, talk, and work together with a clear-cut plan. Solomon was awesome giving us subtle direction if we asked though not spoiling the puzzles for us. Our zombie Nick was amazing and very good at his job! We barely made it out of...

We bought a groupon and spent $72 for 4 people. Finding the place was very difficult even with gps. It is located next door to a jail/prison and was a little scary because there wasnt much else around the parking lot. We had no idea it was a haunted house type place! We are a conservative family so the decorations and evil like scene took us aback. We had non refundable tickets so we stayed.
The staff was friendly and accommodated our member with a mobility issue. The Spellbound room was so fun but so hard. We tried our best and laughed a lot. When a trunk opened a ouija board appeared our kids freaked out a bit.. Again we just did not know that this might be par for the course. They refused to touch it but my husband did it so we could move on. Overall we stunk pretty bad and had to ask for help a lot at the end.
It was a fun time and overall was worth it. If scary or evil things bother you, you will want to skip this place. Had we known we wouldn’t have gone. The staff was nice...
