Very impressed! We are visiting family from out of town and came to JOB's to shoot some pool, expecting them not to allow dine-in due to the pandemic. The bar tender, Chris, was super cool and down to earth and immediately explained everything to us, right as we got to the bar, including that the kitchen was open and everything is made fresh, to order. At first I found it odd that they charge ($1) for a pool cue "rental" but entirely understood when I saw how nice they were (they also let you choose your weight.) The tables were all in impeccable condition, perfectly level, with brand new felt (Chris explained that they are fully serviced and refelted every year by the manufacturer.) We were served our beverages and set up at our assigned table quickly. We then decided to order some food, which came out just in time to order a second round of drinks, piping hot, and prepared perfectly. We were equally delighted that everything was DELICIOUS. The restrooms were surprisingly clean and tasteful compared to similar establishments and the fellow patrons (who seemed to be mostly regulars) were all very kind and considerate. Upon cashing out, Chris offered us a rewards card and implored us to return, even giving us a couple extra stamps as further incentive. In summation, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at JOB's and highly recommend this pool hall and will be back on our next trip...
Read moreOnly pool hall I know of in Nashville. HOWEVER this place would do alot better if it updated it's interior and had decent rentable cues and was more friendly for women. I'm tired of feeling harrassed by creeps everytime I'm there. Even staff occasionally stares at me and noticeably and talks about me and it's uncomfortable. I have been lucky to be mistly taken care of by the staff when these issues arise..but also been ignored at times. They are overcharging for drinks and hourly pool... and the place is discusting bc everyone smokes there and the bathrooms are located in the only decent table areas. It's honestly a male dominated place and they could have better business if they realized women were people as well. I've been lucky to have great experience with staff, not so many ppl are though and they have been allowing outrageous behavior going on by men to women trying to just play and have a good time.
I have chosen to stop going bc I feel anxious about the men's behavior...
