I have been in there a lot of times and bought many cakes and pastries. They are always good. The reason I’m giving a one star review is I went in today to buy a cake, they were busy, so I stood by the cakes for about 10 minutes waiting for a break in the line so that I could tell them which cake I wanted. A man had just walked in about one minute Before they had a break in the line. The cashier came from behind the counter, walked past me like I did not exist and asked the man if she could help him. He said he was good so she turned around, walked past me again, completely ignoring me and went back to the counter. My husband is from El Salvador. I am white. he approached And she started speaking with him, asking him if he needed help. he pointed out the cake that we wanted. We both walked to the counter, and she still refused to acknowledge that I existed. I was paying and she still wouldn’t even look at me. So I put my money away , my husband paid . They will not get another...
Read moreI ordered my daughter’s cake two weeks in advance. I go to pick it up. They was going to give it to me without a plastic lid. The cake had a picture of my daughter and her dog. It was not centered. It was poor quality. The money was hanging out the cake. They could have put a centerpiece for her to pull. It looked like a child made it. I would never order a cake or come to this bakery again. I was so embarrassed to give this cake to my daughter. They did not care. I’m sure if it was for their child’s birthday the cake would not have looked like this. I was very disappointed. I’m sure I’m not the only one to leave a bad review. They lost my business.I also have a picture of the cake but I did not see were I could upload it. I posted a pictures under the pictures and the cake had a tear...
Read moreGreat Latin American bakery! If you're lost like I was my first time, when you walk in there's a stack of food trays and tongs you use to help yourself to whatever and how ever many pastries your heart desires. The nice ladies up front will bag them up for you and they'll ask for what seems like what should be about half the price but the items are very budget friendly! This location has guava pastelitos, the only place I've seen them in Nashville. The little piña colada cakes are insanely delicious and the conchas are fluffy are sweet. There's also cakes and candies for...
