Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

Ordered on Grubhub from this location. I ordered their 5 piece tender meal, which comes with fried okra, mac and cheese, an apple pie, roll, and a drink.

First, they forgot my drink. Let's not forget that.

I started trying the food only to be very unsatisfied.

The okra tasted as if it had been sitting for a good few hours, lacked in taste, and had a rubbery texture. The mac and cheese left a canny taste in my mouth. The chicken tenders were dry and didn't have any moistness to them. The roll? Can we say 'bird food'? Finally, the apple pies sold by Hostess taste better than what I tried. I had to pry the pie out of the packing sleeve because the frosting on top caused it to stick. Trying it, like I said, I've had better.

In reviewing some of the images of this location, I will be on the phone with the health department and I think I may pay them a visit myself to look at the conditions of their kitchen.

As an official Google Reviews Guide, I recommend that if you want something a little more palatable, try out Popeye's or KFC. Besides, KFC's boxes are bigger.

Worst ever do not stop here unless you have endless time to waste. Ordered and paid on line, said it would be ready in 15 min. Got there and drive thru is all the way out to road. Thought I'd park and run in to pick up my order that was supposed to be ready- nope they tell me I have to go through the drive thru. 35 more minutes later I get to the speaker and tell them I'm here to pick up my order ONLY to be told they were out of the spicy chicken I ordered. What the heck? The time I spent in line they could have fixed More??? I had to wait another 1/2 hour to get what I had ordered and already paid for. I waited over an hour total to pick up an order that was supposed to be ready in 15 minutes. If I hadn't had already paid, I would have gone elsewhere. This place is always like this so if you have time to waste just know you are going to wait and they will not have what you want by the time you get to order. I will never go again service was horrible. Do yourself a favor and go to KFC. The place is cleaner and service is so...

The half chicken meal is falsely advertised. Window displays and TV ads say 6.00or 6.99. They're actually 7.49. I swear to God, the half chicken was and looked like half of a Cornish hen. It measured 7 inches long and 4 inches wide. I'm a gourmet cook, so I know my sizes and weights. Their biscuits SUCK and are tiny. I mean biscuits are literally 2 1/2 inches. We measured them. I wanted to substitute my mashed potatoes for coleslaw, got home and had mashed potatoes.

When I called back and asked to spoke to manager, I explained the situation. I also stressed the false advertising of the smoke chicken Mail, her response, I don't pick it out and I don't cook it.

I started to tell her that's not what I'm calling about, she said, hold on a minute, she hung up. I kept calling back and no one would answer.

I can see why this business has closed so many stores.
