Copa Cabana Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

I've recently visit my friend's local neighborhood bar, Copa. During this visit I was on FaceTime with her while this incident was on going. Conversing with witnesses of that night. She was at the bar She had recently encountered an incident with a man pushing here to the ground for no reason. She was on the phone distraught and upset to how a man who push a woman onto the ground. The bouncer and owner were notified and as a result the man and his gf were banned. The man and his gf were complete in the wrong and a poison to the atmosphere. Yet the bouncer and owner continue to let them into the establishment while my friend was there. Making her feel unsafe, unheard, and uncomfortable. She enjoys the nights of karaoke but now she can't support an establishment who intentionally continues to put women and especially black women in compromising situations. I wanted to give an honest review the food is good and the service isn't bad either but the way the owner and bouncer do not uphold there word in protecting the community as business owners is disgusting. This is maybe the fourth iteration of bar at this location and it seems to have finally gotten it right. Copa Cabana is that friendly pub all the locals stop by at some point on a Saturday night aka no obnoxious bachelorette parties visiting town for the night. Catering to a 21 and up crowd, this is one of the few bars left that allow smoking within the establishment. Live dj with occasional karaoke, a spot for dancing, pool tables, darts, several TV's to catch the game, and bar-top computer games---this place has a little bit of everything for everyone. Drinks are nicely priced with a few specialty drinks. Didn't check out the food this go round but have been told from almost everyone that having dinner is definitely a must some time. The staff was super friendly and seemed to know most of their patrons by name, even greeting them with a hug or high five. Definitely had a cheers vibe. Ordered delivery through Door Dash. I understand that ordering delivery will not yield the best product, and to get the optimal experience you need to go to an establishment yourself. However, this doesn't excuse what I was sent by Copa Cabana tonight. I ordered chorizo con queso, wings, pollo tocino, onion rings, and brussel sprouts. The onion rings and sprouts were replaced with okra and south west egg rolls. No note, no explanation. Neither were to my liking, in the least. The chips with the queso were clearly cooked yesterday, if not the day before. If they were somehow made today they weren't stored properly for hours at a minimum. The wings were severely over cooked, or more likely leftovers that were refried, additionally they were incorrectly counted. I've been cooking for years, I know shortcuts when I see them.
