First time here I ordered tenders and chicken. I got all chicken. It was when they first opened up, so I was well I will deal. I ordered online - 3 different orders because 3 different people were going to be paying in my family. Well, got there a few minutes late and they had not started on my orders. Okay, fine. I waited until they filled other orders of people who came after me before even starting on mine. Okay, fine. I start getting my orders and one chicken sandwich was missing and I had 4 buttermilk ranch sauces when I should have 6 blackened ranch sauces. I was polite and explained that I was missing a chicken sandwich. Well, I can say after that the visit went downhill. The manager was acting like I was being rude and kept telling me to calm down and acted like I guess I was a delivery driver or something. I was calm. I do have a very thick mask that my mom made me because I am the usual one to go get food/groceries and run errands. It does cause issues with people hearing me and I do have an issue breathing if I talk a lot. My teenager was with me and he said my voice did get a little louder as the conversation went on, but I was not being rude and was being calm. My teenager was upset as he felt the manager was being rude for all the times he was telling me to calm down. I had been standing there the whole time. The manager was going to put the 2nd sandwich in, but got interrupted. So, it was not a mistake he made in reading the receipt, which clearly said 2 chicken sandwiches. There was another guy who came up front and whispered to him about not having blackened ranch sauces. Instead of telling me then they didn't have the sauce of my choice and to see if I would like another, they just threw in what they had. So...overall the food is good. If you order online, don't expect it to be done on time. If you have multiple orders you are picking up, then you must be a delivery person. If you check your order and find something wrong and no matter how polite you are, they will act like you are a Karen. For those who care - we were both white. Honestly, I do have to say the only issue I had was the manager. An employee was leaving for the day and wished me a great evening as he was leaving. Everyone else seemed to be equally polite and friendly. I have been to Popeye's off Jefferson and the one in Antioch. I have always had great service and my order right. I think only once was it wrong and it was a sorry, let me correct that. I will try once more and if I have a bad experience again - I will drive out of my way for the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBy far the worst experience I have ever had. I placed my order online and set my pickup time for 30 minutes later to give them time to get the order ready. I also selected to pickup my order via the drive through (which is a selection you can pick in the app). I was a little worried because I arrived five minutes late to my pickup but apparently it didn't matter. When I got to the speaker the order taker cut me off as soon as I began to talk to tell me that I needed to come in to pick up my mobile order. I informed her that I couldn't come in and selected to pick up my order in the drive through for a reason. She then preceeded to begin telling at me about how they can't give me my order through the drive through. I told her I couldn't come in, and she said I guess I can't bring it to you, and ordered me to park in front of the building. This began my wait. After 10 minutes a gentleman came out asking me what my name was again (proving she cut me off in the middle of talking because that's what I was saying as she cut me off). I then waited another 40 minutes. That's a 55 minute wait, after a five minute late arrival that's over an hour (total time with argument time was an hour and four minutes) after pickup request time to receive my order. At least after this you would think the food would be hot and fresh correct? No. The food was not fresh and I receive what had to be the smallest and worse pieces of chicken. Didn't even eat it. Will be getting refund from the store once a speak with the manager. I will never visit this store again. Apparently Popeyes just isn't a restaurant we can frequent and I suggest you save your money and find someplace else to eat.
Edit 5/19: I decided to give the location a second chance. Much smaller order, and instead of ordering late evening, it was late lunch. I was still met with a slew of excuses "I need to park you because we didn't even start your mobile order because we are short handed". I was still missing half of my order, which doesn't make sense if they were making everything fresh. But more insulting than anything was the gentleman who brought me my food asking "Is all this for you or someone else?" Excuse me? How is that any of your business or appropriate? So I think I'm just done...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had the best experience that I've ever had in the US at a Popeyes at the Charlotte Pike location this past weekend. I mentioned (to a local business owner) that I was going to the Charlotte Pike Popeyes location and that person suggested that I avoid the Charlotte Pike store and go to the Nolensville road store, which is where I'd normally go to get my wing/chicken/fish/chicken sandwich order. The feedback from the business owner was that the Charlotte pike location was extremely inconsistent and the employees are suspect. After we finished our conversation, I decided that I wanted to try out the Charlotte location as I had similar experiences at the Nolensville Road location, along with super long wait times. Well, I'm so glad I gave the Charlotte Pike location a chance as it was the best experience I've ever had at a Popeyes here in the US. I placed my order and had a chance to meet the GM, Afryiam K. He took the time to understand my rather large order, made sure he had my order correct, gave me a heads up that I'd need to wait a few minutes as they were cooking spicy chicken, etc., and then offered me a drink of water to ensure I was hydrated while I waited for my food. I couldn't believe the level of customer service this gentleman displayed. Popeyes has a reputation for their customer service and it's not good. In fact, it's been the opposite of that other store that specializes in Chicken Sandwiches. But Afryiam changed my view, at least for that day. When my food came out, it was exactly like I ordered and everything was correct and the food was delicious when I made it home. In previous visits to Popeyes, I've ALWAYS had to check my order before I leave and I'd say about 92% of the time, I've had to go in the store as something was made wrong or food items were missing. This visit was an absolute pleasure and I was very appreciative of the kind customer service that I experienced. Thank you Afryiam for your excellent service and car side manner. I will return to your location again, because of you, your concern for customer and our customer service and care. ...
