I had high hopes for this place, despite its less-than-ideal location, but my experience was thoroughly disappointing. From the moment I walked in, I was met with an attitude that soured the entire meal. The young woman at the front was incredibly rude and dismissive. Every question I asked about the menu seemed to annoy her, and the constant eye-rolling was beyond unprofessional. Her entitled demeanor made me feel unwelcome and frankly, like I was inconveniencing her by simply being there. It's a shame, because I'm always willing to give local restaurants a chance, but this level of customer service is unacceptable. So Hong Kong used to be our go to spot. But yesterday we picked up takeout and we were served food that was inedible. The wonton soup was so thick like jello and the wontons in it were dry and brown. It was clearly very expired. Had I eaten it I would have gotten very sick. Then we ordered sesame chicken which tasted like it was reheated sweet and sour chicken with sesame seeds sprinkled on top to try and make it seem like sesame chicken. It was really gross and we were super disappointed. I am super sick right now and was really looking forward to some comfort food...

Food was excellent! We got beef lomain & honey chicken and loved they put the warm sauce on the side. We also enjoyed the egg rolls. The crab rangoons could definitely used more filling but they were still yummy. Very reasonably priced for everything we ordered. The sweet girls (kids) that took my order and picked up from were super friendly and could tell they took pride in their small business.
