Crumbl — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

Cookies are good — just the normal recipes like every other Crumbl. But the staff here is absolutely atrocious. I’ve never been spoken to so rudely at a restaurant, especially about my allergy, in my entire life. Upon entry, the workers are rudely and loudly talking disrespectfully about the customers, both in the store and calling on the phone. Openly and very rudely yelled at a customer “you can wait” before rolling her eyes and going back to talking to the other workers in the back. Waited 15 minutes for my cookies before politely asking to have one of the cookies boxed separately because one of the people in our group has an allergy. The woman, who completely declined to give me her name when I asked for it (and then tried to ridicule me about MY allergy?? in front of other customers and workers) looked immediately annoyed when I requested this and told me I’d have to buy a box for the cookie. I had no problem with this, I’ve just never been asked to buy a box at other stores so I was initially confused. She turns her back and starts speaking to the other employees loudly and in an extremely derogatory tone about my allergy, insinuating I was unaware of how the cookies are made, I shouldn’t even be eating here, etc.. She was disgustingly rude and it’s clear to me why she felt uncomfortable giving her name. The other employees were also clearly annoyed at the small handful of customers and had no problem giving us dirty looks/yelling names aggressively/etc. The inside of the store was also in disarray (already, when the store opened like a month ago?), I was never greeted to have my order taken so hopefully you have the app, trash on the floors, etc. Honestly just save yourself the experience and go to the...

MOST UNFRIENDLY STAFF EVER😥 HORRIBLE SERVICE,SMH My Oder was to be ready by 1:50 , after sitting in the store, the store manager Benjamin, told me to come back by 3:00 and my order will be ready . Well it’s now 3:05 and they are telling to come back around 4:30 and they will be done by then 😢.. Wow wow wow, so unprofessional, and he was extremely dismissive and irritated. He didn’t offer me any discounts for my time, gas or inconvenience. He just wanted to let me know he is 1 person and was the only person working all day, so he didn’t have the time to make the Special cookies of the week… So sad and wrong. This is not the look I was expecting for this new Antioch store (Tanger) 😞 I actually had to go and replace my order at the Smyrna location. They had my order filled within 4 minutes of me standing in the store. The manager was very friendly, and even gave me a discount on my order , because of My experience with this location. He also Let me know that the Antioch and Smyrna location did not have the same owners. I guess that’s why the atmosphere/environment is different, SMH. I was really disappointed with my interaction with this store today. I can’t believe they treated me so Badly. When I asked Mr. Benjamin for his area supervisor or district manager number, at first he told me they didn’t have one and then I just need to go online and fill out a complaint with customer service,smh Once I asked him again, and Let him know that the proper protocol for getting in touch with chain of command wasn’t what he was doing. I have been to many Crumbl locations in the past, and frequent them often. However, this was my first time visiting this crumbl location since it recently opened. Unfortunately, I was not impressed and will most likely not be returning.

Firstly, the store looked fairly dirty, there was stuff all over the counter tops, stuff on the floor, etc. Not an amazing first impression.

Secondly, I ordered a pink sugar and it just tasted…off? Like they didn’t add the almond extract or something. Unsure if it was a new recipe, but that is a cookie I have often and it definitely tasted different.

Lastly, I have a peanut allergy. I am fully aware of cross contamination and my responsibility with that when it comes to ordering food at places such as this. However, I have never had a problem with that at Crumbl until I visited this location. Unfortunately, the inside of my single cookie box was smeared with another cookies remnants, which I sadly did not discover until after I had taken a bite. These remnants had also been smeared onto the underside of my cookie, and caused an allergic reaction. It looked like a different cookie had been placed inside my box, removed, and then my cookie was placed inside. I feel like I shouldn’t have to say this, but this is very unsanitary, and I feel it’s not too much of an unreasonable expectation to assume that your cookie is being placed in an unused box.
