Decided to have chic-fila for lunch. Came to the drive thru and saw two lanes: "Drive thru" & "mobile order". This is not at any other chic-fila I've been to so I just picked the lane I was already in (you have to make a slight left to get into the other lane) and drove forward. Two servers are outside talking in the lane I didn't take. I roll down my window. "Do you have a mobile order?" NOW I understand what this lane is for. "No, I'd like to place an order." "Well, you have to drive around and get in this other lane. Sorry." Literally NO OTHER CARS in either lane yet this young lady just couldn't take my order at that moment on my lunch break. Annoyed, I drive around the restaurant parking lot and get in the DRIVE THRU lane to now be behind two other cars. I give my order, receive my food and drive away still annoyed. If what she told me is the correct policy then management needs to make a few adjustments. Would it have been too much to tell me me I was in the wrong lane, let ME apologize and then just take my order anyway? I was the only car there in either lane at that moment. Also, ONE LANE? ONE DRIVE THRU LANE? I came to the reviews to see if I was overreacting and it turns out I'm not. I don't know why this location set itself up for failure but corporate needs to come through and make some changes. One lane is not smart. I understand wanting people to use your app but trying to force them by delegating an entire lane to online orders isn't the way to do it. I usually enjoy Chick-fil-A, but this new location has been a consistent disappointment. Over the past few months, every visit has been frustratingālong wait times, incorrect or missing items in my order, and food that simply isnāt up to the usual standard.
Today was the final straw. I placed a mobile pick-up order hoping for convenience and speed, but ended up waiting over 20 minutes. I was late getting my son to school, which made an already hectic morning even more stressful. Every time the line moved, the same team member approached my car asking if I was a different name and what was on my orderāeven though my name and car details were clearly listed on the ticket.
Itās incredibly frustrating to experience this level of disorganization and inconsistency every time. I will be reaching out to corporate/higher management because this is unacceptableāespecially from a brand that prides itself on service.

The worker who had the iPad who took my order misspelled my name, so the lady who tried to ring it out to me miss pronounce my name, so I didnāt think it was my order at first. but when I got up there, the lady in the black sweatshirt told me to exit diagonally because I already had my food and I said āI donāt have my foodā and sheās like āwhat is your orderā, and I told her and then she rolled her eyes at me and gave me the food and I said āoh I ordered another drinkā and she said āwell you didnāt so you didnāt pay for it so you donāt have oneā⦠the guy with the iPad didnāt read my order back so I didnāt know he missed it.
