Dunkin was only an option for me due to their happy hour special and the ability to quickly build points and incentives through their app. The service and product quality is not worth any of their standard pricing. This location particularly displays that. I went shortly after their opening, where on numerous occasions the pos system was malfunctioning and employees were clearly already poorly trained on how to handle discrepancies. Between the hours of 2-5 pm they have happy hour on medium standard lattes and the registers were never implementing the discounted prices or letting you as a customer scan the app to receive loyalty points for visits. Several employees , including even managers attempted to tell me that because the system was acting off , I wouldn’t be able to take advantage of the deal and I’d just have to pay regular price. I don’t know if they were attempting to falsify sales or again just completely lost and poorly trained. After refusing to agree to that, they would finally manually calculate the order total, with the discount and I had to call corporate to receive my points back for the purchases. I stopped patronizing for some time in an attempt to let them get better organized and work out technical kinks.
However, the service is still terrible. There are definitely very discriminatory practices promoted at this location and maybe even within the overall company itself. Many white employees here have preconceived perceptions regarding the demographics of the area surrounding this location and how they can act based on that. I believe their hires are unfamiliar with many aspects of coffee shops in general and their products. They however assume that if they’re ignorant to those things, then black people definitely don’t patronize coffee shops, and must be ignorant. In reality many black people such as myself frequent various local and chain coffee shops, and are very familiar with drink selections, their recipes and more. On one occasion, an associate brought me a hot latte that was beyond cold. After going back and forth with her numerous times at the window she took back the drink and later admitted that her coworker forgot to steam the milk in my latte. On another occasion, the order disappeared from the drive through screen and I wanted the associate to repeat my order back to me at the window so that I could make sure the totals were correct. I ordered a medium hot latte with flavor and a milk substitution, he however insisted that I was charged extra for expresso. I said that I didn’t want any additional pumps of expresso and if I was charged for that , it was wrong and may make my drink wrong. When he got the manager, she proceeds to tell me that expresso comes in every latte. I looked at her like she was a fool, and made it clear I knew that, my concern was the associate insisting that I was charged for it , which is normally an indicator that extra was added. Finally they concluded that the extra charge should have been by the milk substitution, and if the manager wouldn’t have cleared off my order from the drive thru register in the first place, to check out someone who was inside the store on that particular register, none of these problems would have occurred. On my last and final visit, I had rewards so I decided to take advantage of them. As I approach the speaker, I can’t even complete my order before the associate proceeds to tell me that the two drinks I’m ordering are the same and it’d be foolish to pay more for one. It was very rude, because her tone was condescending and malice. I also wasn’t ordering the same drinks for sure and I wasn’t paying but using rewards. She couldn’t even let me get to any of this because she cut me off. I always order a milk substitution in my drink and the other drink had additional flavoring outside of mine and was a signature latte. I proceed to go inside to let her know what she was saying and doing was completely out of line and ridiculous. Another coworker told me she has had similar experiences. America runs...

Read moreI work in the service industry and it takes a lot for me to leave negative reviews and get upset at industry employees.
I live around this location and I usually don’t have the best service or results, but I love DD so I deal with it. However TODAY June 30 2025 at 4:30 pm, the lady that was working the drive through was RUDE. And said nothing but “what else, what else, pull around.” And then proceeded to ask me my order AGAIN (I was the only person there) then after repeating it for the second time she STILL it wrong or just didn’t want to do extra steps and didn’t care. All I had was two avocado toasts with bacon and a brown sugar shaken espresso and when I came around the drive through to kindly ask her to just put some bacon and the side or something she NEVER came to the window. My boyfriend went in to get it fixed for me because I would’ve caused a scene at the lack of professionalism and work ethic. He said she made an ugly face and was upset she had to remake it. As of now I will not be coming back to this location even though it’s the nearest one from me. Ruined my whole day. Unprofessional, lazy and rude. The owner of this location needs to hire better employees because this isn’t the first time this happens and definitely won’t...
