I came with my two children for his birthday. We arrived at 10:49 and waited patiently for the doors to open . Destini (the greeter /cashier) arrived at 11:04 and went in (saying nothing to us or the other family that was happily waiting at the door taking pictures) I didn’t think anything of it . We waited two more minutes and I decided to check the door (it was unlocked) my family went in and the other family followed . Destini stood at the front with her stamp in hand waiting to stamp our arms, she never said Hello to myself or my children . She looked as if someone tinkled in her Cheerios this morning . She was too rough with my 4 year old and got upset because she assumed he was supposed to know which arm she had to stamp ! I wanted to walk right back out but since it was my son’s birthday, I decided not to let the sour apple ruin the bunch . Unfortunately, after her coworker came out to start stamping , she was now the cashier . She again didn’t speak , had a dry irritated tone when I was choosing a package , had an attitude the entire time . I understand that you hate your job Destini , but try working at a warehouse or something! Kids and the public is a NOT your strong point . You hate your job , stop trying to make others share your misery . I almost let my Chicago instincts come out and snatch you from behind the counter but I was alone with my kids . Thank God I didn’t invite other relatives because I probably WOULD HAVE! The next guest might not...
Read moreAs the coordinator of the “Light of Angels” special needs group, our visit to Chuck E. Cheese’s today was nothing short of a nightmare. Despite choosing this location for its convenience, the experience was marred by abysmal management and a complete lack of professionalism from the staff. The so-called “team” consisted of high school kids who clearly lacked any semblance of customer service skills or discipline. Their rude demeanor and dismissive attitude towards everyone, including our special needs children, was utterly unacceptable. Safety was a grave concern as well, with no staff stationed at the door, allowing any child to leave unsupervised. Adding insult to injury, they thought it wise to operate a vacuum cleaner amidst the chaos of running children, posing a serious hazard.
To top it off, when we attempted to reconcile the discrepancies in our payment—$9.99 per ticket for 33 children, all tax-exempt—the manager’s response was shockingly confrontational and unhelpful. Instead of providing a reasonable explanation, she rudely dismissed us with a tone of contempt, leaving us bewildered and frustrated. Consequently, both the children and their parents left the premises feeling thoroughly dissatisfied, labeling it as the worst field trip experience ever. Chuck E. Cheese’s should be ashamed of the appalling service and disregard for safety displayed...
Read moreVery unpleasant experience. I would recommend you stop immediately visiting the overall Chuck E. Cheese franchise. It’s a SCAMMING facility.Learn from my experience. We purchased 120 minutes of playing time and pizzas. My son went to pause his card when it was time to eat pizza. Then he decided to play one more game before dinner. I told him to go pause it again and the kiosk machine was NOTallowing him to pause it. I immediately went to the counter and requested a manager. The manager Ciara said there is nothing she could do about our situation because it only allows customers to pause your card ONE TIME! How does the customer know that? Stealing from people that’s what your company is about? I requested another card or a refund and once again I was denied that option. I said so Chuck e Cheese is making money while the customer gets screwed over and she said yes basically. I requested the district managers contact information and corporate phone number. I was told I’m not allowed to obtain that information. What a horrific experience for my family and I. Not a care in the world from the employees for what we were experiencing. This business is scamming families. I will never visit this establishment and I will make sure everyone I know does the same. Take y’all a business to Dave and busters or to...
