Let me start by saying when I say the two ladies that worked the front cash registers are very disrespectful the Hispanic lady and the African-American lady they are very rude and disrespectful and always got a attitude. I havenāt been here three times and all three times the lady Jules I think thatās Her Name always have an attitude always saying something smart first of all I ordered a king platter. No egg add sausage no potato add corn she brought me out my food. She gets mad at me because thereās an egg in my food and I told her itās not supposed to be eggs supposed to be a sausage. She got an attitude with me, rolled her eyes and walked away so then I started talking to the Hispanic lady I asked and telling her that my receipt says no egg add a sausage she gonna tell me you gotta wait until the lady come back and she go do it. Iām not doing it then she come back and she said whatās the issue. I said I donāt eat eggs itās supposed to be a sausage. She got an attitude and it was like you know what just go ahead and keep it. Iām a go get you one. Itās not my fault. It got me wrong. This is my heart earned money that Iām trying to spend on this business. OK on top of that the crab legs were very very very small now when I say very small Iām talking about like two clusters the size of a old person finger skinny and small. The sausage was good. Corn was plain the original flavor for your crab legs was extra salty. The fish says catfish but is not catfish is really fish and itās sway Swan. Whatever is called is not real fish the fries very one out of five fries are hard cold. Still just nasty for the price that they are charging is not worth eating here you might as well go to juicy seafood and pay that real price juicy seafood is worth it by the way, I took my food to go this third time and when I when I was trying to get my bill for me and my woman, the lady got a attitude stop doing what she was doing what she was taking an order she stopped doing what she doing take the bag of bibs and handing me too, which I was gonna get it at the same time like why do you stop your order to be petty Just in case they try to delete this Iām a screenshot it cause if they get deleted, I will be posting it on all social medias, but Iām a screenshot...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreYāall! Cancel whatever dinner plans you have and take your family to 2260 Lebanon Pike. Because Krustacean is everything! Where do I begin to talk about how great this place is? Letās start with timeliness⦠~ They open at 11AM. I arrived at 10:55AM. The āOPENā sign was on the door was unlocked. The TVs and the music, all on. They apparently arrived early (the way professionals should) to prepare for the opening hour. My receipt is time stamped 10:57AM. I was eating by 11:05AM. ~ The customer service is comparable, if not excelling that, of Chik-Fil-A. Friendly, accommodating and proficient, all words that describe the staff especially the owner, Antoine Riley. ~ The environment is squeaky clean. Nicely decorated and the energy is calm and welcoming. The music was 90ās R&B hits. I was going to get my order to-go. Upon entering, I immediately decided to stay. You do not have to ask for anything because, all the condiments are located on a counter next to the drink machine and cups. Customer convenience. Mr. Riley thought of everything. ~ The food: I went their because I had an appetite for fried shrimp. As previously mentioned, it seemed as though they knew I was coming and what I wanted because the food was served hot and fresh before I could get settle in my seat. I was expecting basic fried shrimp that may need some salt and pepper. What I got was something just short of spectacular in flavor. I needed nothing, neither salt, pepper nor cocktail sauce. The shrimp tasted as though it was seasoned pre-batter. Heaven in Your Mouth is what I would call it on my menu. There was so much that I will eat two more times from this one order. Shout out to Uncle Budās for being closed on Mondays and Tuesdays! Because of that I have found this gem of a black-owned restaurant. This is now my go to for seafood. Trust me, Mr. Riley and Krustacean will...

1st time I had the fish and fries. Just too many fries that I didn't need .Fish was whole pieces and good seasoning. Loading up fries don't make it a $25 dollar meal, though!
2nd time the Bayside platter seafood boil. Amazing, crab came right out the shell and everything was tasteful. Ill ask for some of my butter in cup next time so when I'm eating potatoes its not like I'm drinking the butter concoction.
So I returned a 3rd time, on 4/25/25 and it was not the same crab legs, seem smaller. On this 3rd time, it was a call in order. Krab and Shrimp Platter $55 after tax. Food assembled nicely. My bag was getting tied up and I was just less than 10 minutes away when I called it in. Was my food sitting on stove already? I was sitting inside restaurant eating and frowning due to fact my crab legs were steamed too long(not coming out easily) and some of my potatoes just wasn't cooked all the way(hard and cold spots)and one long potatoe and then half pieces. Sausage and corn were fine. Two claws ...shish. They were looking at me as I ate last night. Didn't care to ask was my food ok. Is there anything I could get you was asked. Some crab legs not steamed too long, I should've said.
I will just go get a box next time but mom was tied from long week and didn't have the stuff to cook. I'm going to look at Hermitage Gulfport seafood market and see if they can do better. I came all the way from Mt.Juliet.
The front cleaning lady, learn to be more courteous. Change your tone, everybody has long days. Persevere to the end. .Don't start cussing to your coworker about your situations on the job because it's close to closing. You still have a patron(s)eating in the restaurant trying to have a pleasant evening. Also, leave TV on till last dining...
