I had not patronized McDonald's in many years as there are many other establishments that actually seem to work for their customers business.
It took over five minutes before one of the four employees asked gruffly if I had been waited on. I placed an order for a #1 meal which is their Big Mac. As I waited for 14 minutes to get my meal several other customers approached the counter complaining about their order accuracy. I watched as several people had to repeat this process three or more times before getting their order right or they gave up in frustration. No staff member including the English speaking manager/supervisor ever apologized or acknowledged the customers exasperation it gave the assistance if caring at all.
I figured with my long wait that I would at least get a hot fresh meal but apparently my food must have been praised long before my arrival. I received a cold Big Mac that was half unassembled in the box with my side of cold soft fries. Not sure why it took 20 minutes from the time I arrived at the counter until I received my order since the time was obviously not doesn't preparing my food and there were not many other customers in the store.
Lack of employee engagement, lack of empathy and poor or no management seemed to be the order of the day here. How on earth they can keep the doors open with every customer on site complaining and NO response or concern from staff is...

They stated they couldn't find it when I was started trying to tell them what I ordered so that they could place the order. A woman by the name of Erica who stated she was the manager said she did not have time to deal with it and told us to get out of line. When I tried to call her back to the window to give her the order, she yelled she did not have time to talk to me and she would not listen to my daughter either. So I went to the restaurant to reason with Ms. Erica and she was very rude at the window and quite unapologetic. She went and got the real manager who was a man. I explained to him the problem and tried to offer him the solution I tried to offer her and while I was talking to him she was yelling and quite rude in the background so much so until he motioned for to be quite a few times and motioned for her to walk away. I told him that I did not trust to get food from them because I felt after seeing her actions they would spit in my food, so I did not place my order. I do not live in Antioch, Tennessee I was visiting a relative. If that is how McDonald's in Antioch, Tennessee are run then I wonder if the Hispanic woman Erica was racially motivated. Read moreWe been coming to this McDonald’s for a while now is together with the gas station is a plus the service is very good but this morning I went with my daughter and order through the mobile order and I understand it was a busy morning being Sunday but my daughter order a big breakfast and we made the mistake not saying we want it with hotcakes when we went to pickup the order the lady that give us the order give us the food in a bad way I told her that wasn’t what we order and I paid for the hotcakes and she just went and gives us an order of hotcakes that I paid in a bad way she was so rude not only to us there was another customer there that want it to ask a question and she cut him off in a bad way also this attitude. then my daughter drop her food and she didn’t even bother to help us again I clean the food from the floor took our hotcakes and left because I told my daughter if she didn’t want it to help us in the first place why bother to ask her for another plate is sad kids don’t understand this things yet. Working with customers is never easy but not all customers are rude just remember that if they treat you with respect you should treat them...
