On Wednesday May 12th, at approximately 2:10pm, I found myself at the McDonald's drive-thru to get my daughter a snack, after picking her up from school. When we arrived, I heard a muffled voice asking may I take your order. Without even thinking, I assumed it was my usual "friend" over the speaker so I cheerfully responded, "Hola Chica! Uno momento, por favor!" I immediately got a nasty response saying "Ah, Un! No! I'm not takin no orders in that language! We don't speak Spanish! Order in English!" So I'm thinking maybe I shouldn't have assumed it was her. Embarrassed, I said hold please. My oldest daughter called while the cashier began to take other orders. I told her what happend and she informed me that this McDonald's is known for being rude to it's customers. I had no idea. By the time my youngest daughter figured out what she wanted, I had 3 cars behind me and no one else was in the other lane. I was waiting patiently but the cashier never came back. I said "hello" twice and "excuse me" through the speaker once. After that last hello, she rudely responded with: "YOU GONE HAVE TO WAIT! I'M TAKIN' OTHA ORDAS!" I saw that I was the only car at a drive-thru speaker and was like OMG. I didn't even want to order after that because I didn't want them to do something to my daughter's food. I had to take her somewhere else to eat. I told my daughter to call them several times while we were leaving but someone kept hanging up on us after answering. I've never been treated so awful in my life. If you guys find yourself at the McDonald's at 2499 Murfreesboro Pike Nashville, TN 37217, please watch out for the ghetto black woman in drive-thru with black/blue braids, long fake nails, and thick, false eyelashes. She is a force to be reckoned with. Someone like her should not be allowed to work with the public at all. She has zero customer service skills. If McDonald's insist on employing individuals like this, then please keep them away from the public. There are plenty of other duties people like her can fulfill rather than allowing her and people like herself to make direct contact with the public. Read moreI wish I could have selected every single reason given for this complaint. This location not only offers slow service, but incompetent service, and unprofessional service. The food is almost always wrong. The ice is always melted in my drinks. The fries are hard, etc. I placed a mobile order pick up at 10:18am. I live less than 2 minutes away from this McDonalds. I joined the line at 10:20 am. It took 20 minutes to get to the speaker. The employee at the speaker was not only rude, but she could've cared less about me or my order and said because it was after 10:30 am even if I already PAID, I could not pick it up and I needed to figure out how to cancel it. I was not offered to be helped or compensated, let alone told how to cancel my order. I then had to return back to the restaurant only to not even be greeted by anyone. All the customers are standing around waiting on someone to even acknowledge them. No one was at the front to take orders or ask questions to. One employee yelled from the back to use the kiosk. No please, no we will be with you momentarily, nothing. I stood in line for an additional 10 minutes before finally getting the option through the app to cancel my order which now Im informed - of course not from the employees but through the app - that it will take 1-7 business days. This franchise is disgusting and I will not be returning. I will also be leaving a review and contacting McDonalds in any means necessary to ensure they know bout this issue. Food, service, urgency, efficiency, accuracy, empathy, friendliness, cleanliness..NONEXISTENT. Im sure this greedy company could care less about losing a customer, but at least Ill sleep better knowing this feedback is out there somewhere. Im sick of the lack of customer service...
Read moreThe only reason I could possibly see me coming back here is because it’s close. Not one time has my food been correct, or has anyone been remotely kind towards me during my whole process here. Just today the line through the drive thru was in the street, so we parked to order inside. About 4-5 employees walking around, sitting, or talking, and not working on fixing the congestion issue in their drive thru or the leak coming from the fountain drink station running across the entire floor. We used the kiosk to order and got our cups (after having to flag someone down since they seemed to avoid eye contact with anyone at the counter needing help) to fill with a fountain drink. The Dr. Pepper was out of syrup, which is understandable sometimes, but not when the lobby is empty of customers. So we opted for different drink options. Both of them were flat, and after some testing, so were all the fountain drinks. When we went to tell someone and ask for a solution, the only thing we got was attitude and a “I don’t know” (this was a manager). Frustrated, we just got the sweet tea. When we finally got our food we booked it out of there to avoid having to be near this place any more, but when I opened my food, it was completely wrong. It’s like they purposefully looked at what the order was, and decided to do their own thing, then slapped the sticker on there just to put something out. The previous time we encountered this location, my wife was forgotten about after being told to pull forward, then given the wrong thing after about 30 minutes of waiting. This place needs to update their list of employees, because clearly there is a mismanagement issue here. Will avoid this place in the future...
