We had lunch here, surprised this place is not busier. If you get a chance stop in and try it.

The Arepa sandwich is as advertised. It looks amazing and overflowing with ingredients that are delicious. (Except the corn, but I think the corn is just out of season.)

I am not a big fan of Arepas at all. Every time I have ever had an arepa at a restaurant I did not like it. The ones here were no different for me. But surprisingly, the ones my husband makes at home I enjoy eating.

The chicken and pork have more flavor than the leading bbq restaurants in Nashville. I would rather come here for their chicken and pork than the big name bbq places.

The first empanada we ordered was just chicken, I loved the chicken inside, I did not like the crust. There lady at the counter asked how we liked it and I gave her my honest feedback. There was a man behind the counter with her and he gave me another empanada with chicken and cheese and corn. That one was really good. The inside ingredients perfect (except the out of season corn but that is not their fault). The outside crust, much better; flaky and crispy and buttery.

The Papelon (cane sugar drink with lemon) is really good! Get this to drink when you come, it doesn’t disappoint at all!

Now let’s talk sauces! The sauces here are not amazing or even really good, they are just good. It is missing something to take it to the next level to be amazing.

Overall, 4.8 stars. I want better sauce for the empanadas, and this will take them well above a 5...

Alfonso the front counter guy makes a huge points to know every single person who walks through the door. So friendly and if you come in once he’ll remember your name for life. Food is banging and quick! Great late...
