First off this place blows if you don’t “look the part” they treat you like dirt. Second they took 35+ minutes to make 2 crepes and hashbrowns yet made 2 other people’s orders who came after us and served them after they were only there 5 minutes (lucky people) so when I went up to ask politely about the status of our order the man said “it was a large order so it takes a bit) I’m sorry 2 crepes is a large order yet you could bust out 4 who came after us that were big ones?!? Stupid much? Then the rude lady who should be fired and work a job never dealing with people said they are working on it now but it came out cold? (She was incredibly rude to my sister when ordering) then finally after our 40 minute wait we get our food annoyed and ready to go we boxed it up got home and I started eating there is a long black hair in my food!!! 20$+ for 2 crepes that can’t be eaten due to their lack of sanitation and hair nets!!! This place is disappointing, disrespectful, and disgusting. I will never eat here again and don’t recommend this place to anyone! So disappointing y’all truly need to step up your game to be a better place to eat or do everyone a favor and close down! I’d give no stars if I could!
Called to speak with a manager about a refund for this horrible crepe and the lady decided to say this is how they operate and are okay being rude to their customers then we just shouldn’t come back because they aren’t going to change. Understaffed or not this place should have more respect for those coming in to eat and it’s a disappointment that they think this is okay. I would have been fired from any restaurant job I had for acting like this lady does to customers it’s amazing someone would even hire her. So dear owners and management I suggest you really evaluate your employees and see if they are worth the...
Read moreDrivin thru Nashtown and wanted a quick bite to eat and a drink It was not quick, but it was still really good! Got a chimichanga, (the weekend's special,) and a crêpe florentine for the two of us, as well as a coffee and a tea.
Let me get the bad out of the way: It was not quick, but it was more formal service. (My fault!) And the black tea tasted more herbal than black. (Our preference not in its favor)
Good stuff: The coffee was excellent and not too acidic or basic. Great all around! But the food was something else. I'd never had a savory crepe before, so this was a bit of a new experience for me. But it was cool! I accidentally ordered the crêpe florentine because I confused "florentine" and "caprese." I was not thinking straight. Though the flavor of spinach gets boring to me after a while and I often have to cover it up with some sauce or something, I have to admit that the crêpe was good. But the chimichanga was next level. Fair warning, this isn't a chimi in the traditional sense, but more so spiced chicken ensconced in a baked puff pastry burrito. Essentially, better than a chimichanga. That's a smart way to make a chimichanga. It's crispy and it tastes like butter. Yum!
The portions here, too, are quite generous. Though considering what a crêpe is, it's really not too big if you think about it.
Overall, a nice Nashville neighborhood eatery I...
Read moreDecided to head to the Red Bicycle on Nolensville road which I thought would be a great idea since it’s closer to me than the one on Germantown and I can honestly say this has been one of the most uncomfortable experiences I had here. To begin with the lights were off outside the building which i thought indicated that they were closed even though it was no where near closing time. Perhaps they just wanted drivers to pass by thinking they were closed. But fortunately they were open just had the lights off outside with it being night time they should have been on to notify their customers that they were still open for business. Second of all the cashier girl and her boyfriend were touching each other a little too much while I was placing my order. I believe for any customer to be in that awkward position would have felt the same way as I did. I as the customer felt extremely uncomfortable to be looking at that while placing my order. It is completely inappropriate to have the business employees wrap their arms around their other employee while touching them. From now on I will no longer go to the Red Bicycle on Nolensville Road, I much rather make the drive to the one located on Germantown. Atleast they know how to act infront...
