Neighborhood Health at Casa Azafrán — Local services in Nashville-Davidson

When I walk in to check in I was greeted with a receptionist that hands me a tablet that had not been sanitized in a long time. The check in process was interrupted with vitals with a technician that made me feel rushed and I was early for the appointment. Then after being placed in an exam room that had not been attended to in awhile the sharps box was in need of emptying and the trash was overflowing with not but Spanish being spoken from the office staff while I'm in the room. Then Doctor Lorenzo come in the first statement out of her mouth is you need to be wearing a mask when neither of her staff informed me of such need. Then she states that she is not even my doctor when I was assigned to her through my insurance company along with her name on my insurance card. I started to explain to her about medication side effects that I've been having and she stated that she doesn't prescribe the medications that I'm on and then I needed to talk to my cardiologist about it but she's my primary care physician. Last time I checked ways she is who I report those to. So to end this review I would state that the office is very unprofessional and unsanitary and combative along with uncompassionate. If I could have I would have given it a zero Stars. Update 3/2 so I get a call from the CEO of neighborhood health this morning saying that I was refusing to wear a mask let it know that I was not refusing to wear the mask what I was call attention to was the fact that I didn't see the sign and that I interacted with two staff and had my vitals done before I was eve told that a...

The doctor & staff at the Neighborhood Health at Casa Azafrán location are rude. I've never felt so talked down to in my life from a medical professional. I am extremely upset & will not be going back here again. Honestly, they need to do a complete overhaul in regards to staff. They are unprofessional & just outright condescending to people. Front desk staff can often be heard making snide & hurtful comments about patients they just got off the phone with. I would rather just stay sick than have to be treated in such a hurtful manner.

The doctor here is very dedicated and thorough with you. I had gone to a major hospital, and some other clinics before they actually found out that I had a thyroid issue here.
