Read moreI’ve frequented plenty a wine bar in Nashville and unfortunately I will not be coming back here. I wanted to love this place because the neighborhood needs a wine bar, but unfortunately our experience fell short. The vibe was unwelcoming the night I went, and there was no wine menu in sight, which should have been my cue to leave. Then, my glass of wine that I talked to the bar tender about was OVER $23? Which was not mentioned to me at all when ordering - it was giving more “money hungry” rather than “this wine selection is the best for you”. Again, a great reason for a menu - if i have questions, I’ll ask your bar tender but I don’t want to be shell shocked at the price when I get my bill. I did not expect it to be cheap, but that is completely outrageous. There are better wine bars in Nashville (Butterlamp, Bad Idea, Van Gogh etc) for much less and restraints with an amazing wine selection that I would recommend before anyone...
Read moreBeing a Nashville native. I am always excited to try restaurants and bars that originate from another city or state. As always I have high expectations. But this place was a total let down. Mainly because of the service. Apparently bar staff picks and chooses who has to come to the bar for a drink and who does not. I went to the grand opening on 1/23/25 and saw a bartender go from table to table greeting guests and taking their orders table by table. My guest and I were told to order at the bar. The bartender was short and not inviting at all. Having to stand and taste wine when I had a table was a horrible time.. mind you my part was one of the first parties there. My shrimp dish had good flavor but it was cold because it had been sitting ready for a while. Overall 2/10 and as a wine and food enthusiast the 2 is me just being nice. Really disappointed by the way we were singled out...
