Smoothie King — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

I went to Smoothie King Friday. I asked and was told it was $5.00 Friday but a meal replacement smoothie was $6.00. I was ok with that and ordered a meal replacement smoothie with nothing extra. I was told it was $7.10. I looked at the receipt and it said $7.59 plus $.60 tax and then a $1.09 discount. Beside the discount it said $6.50 Friday. When i inquired why we didn't get it for $6.00 as stated and clearly advertised by the window they first said it was tax. I said "no" because it would have been $6.60 total ( $6 plus 10% tax). Then they said they just push a button that says $6.00. They don't know why it says and charges $6.50 but there was nothing they could do. I explained that this was clearly false advertising and the cashiers just said that's weird. So....somebody (whomever programs the register) at this store is ripping people off and hoping customers don't catch it. Well i caught it! Shame on this...

This particular branch needs to improve their service and timeliness. The employees who were supposed to arrive one day toward the end of last week were not there and I waited until after 7:20 but then had to be at work down the road by 7:30 so I had to give it up. Ended up eating from a vending machine that morning. This is not the first time I have come there and no one was in the building. They can also be really slow, perhaps from understaffing? I have pretty much stopped coming to this branch and stick to the ones in Franklin (my commute is from very far South). Franklin branches are always courteous, on time, and willing to make your smoothie the way you request it. I will say that the Nashville ones farther out in Hermitage and Nolansville Rd. haven't been so bad but this one on 12 South and sometimes the Rosa Parks one needs help with time...

My sister is in the hospital. I came to get her a smoothie at 10:05 on Sunday oct 27, 2024. The place was locked up and completely dark. I saw 3 other customers pull away frustrated. The staff finally arrived at 10:15. And start making smoothies Saw me standing outside and did not open the doors. 10:20. I pull the door. The lock has failed and opened. Staff tells me they aren't open when they clearly are making smoothies from online. I say. The door says you own at 10. Then their story changed "oh, we only have one blender." Great. I only need one drink and I've been here for 20 minutes. Another customer walked in behind me and they said they were making his drink.

Late for work. Lying to customers. And the place was run down.

Go anywhere else but here. Especially if your family needs...
