Swett's — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

As the first customer to try their newest addition to the menu, I can tell you that the Jerk Chicken was AMAZING!!! So very very flavorful!!! I’ve had Jerk that’s too stinging hot spicy or too fruity but this recipe landed right on the centerline of maximum flavor!!! I teased Shelly & Jamel the GM & Assist GM respectively asking Where’s the Rice & Peas!! 😂😂 They said if the Jerk Chicken takes off and is popular they have some for my next trip thru BNA!! 🥰🥰 When I used to live in Nashville, before the Great Invasion by Californians, Swett’s was one of my favorite Meat & Three’s in town! The best of southern food around. And this airport location serves the same level of delicious southern cravings as the original! And I love how Shelly & Jamel take great pride in what they’re serving! You cannot go wrong with the fried chicken or the meatloaf! But it was great trying Jamel’s Jerk Chicken!!! Highly recommend that you stop and grab you a plate when passing thru BNA!! It’s WORTH THE WALK from the A & B & D gates to get to the middle of C Terminal for their great Southern...

I had the occasion to eat here twice in 5 days while on layovers. While the name SWETT’S BBQ is slightly misleading, I was not disappointed. This is a counter serve fast southern style restaurant. Our server was all alone at the moment we arrived but quickly took good care of us as soon as she finished with other customers.

I had fried pork chops, beef tips, collard greens and broccoli casserole. I’ll just say that I ate every last bit and that it all had ten times the flavor of today’s lunch at Ol’ Red across the way.

Returning home from a conference today, we stopped in at Swett's at the Nashville Airport, at the recommendation of a colleague who had taken an earlier flight. I can't say enough wonderful things about this place! The staff behind the counter were very helpful, the choices were plentiful, and the food was to die for! I had the ribs, mac and cheese and baked apples and all of it was fantastic. Did I mention the price? Unbelievable value. In addition, as we were eating we had the pleasure of talking with some of the staff [only name I got was Antonio] and it is clear that all of them take pride in their work!!
