I spent $40 on 2 enchiladas ahead of the approaching winter storm. I placed the online order while I was at work and scheduled to pick them up the second I was leaving the office. I arrived and waited a rather long time only to be told that they had sold out of enchiladas and were currently in the process of making more. I was then rudely told to come back the following morning when I had planned to serve my family said enchiladas for dinner that night. It also turns out the woman waiting behind me in line actually scooped up the one remaining enchilada from the prepared food section while I waited. Call me crazy but I assumed my order would be set aside for me especially in the midst of people buying food like it’s the apocalypse. When I searched the web for best sandwich in Green Hills, I landed on Food Company, which surprised me because I've never heard of or noticed the place even though I live in the area. I placed an order online for curbside pickup (great online ordering system, I love the "build your own" sandwich option), and set out to pick it up. Despite having the address and knowing the area intimately, I had difficulty locating them. It turned out they share a building with The Greenhouse and if they had any obvious signage for The Food Place, I did not see it. Once that mystery was solved, we got to eat our sandwiches. They were both outstanding, well constructed and full of fresh and delicious contents. I will be ordering from them...
