So I want a refund. A complete refund. Against my better judgment, I decided to order Wendy's for delivery (the water is off in our apartment, so we can't cook or wash anything). Why is it not possible to remove ice from the drinks on the app? After getting the order placed, we just had to wait. Honestly, the wait wasn't very long. And the updates timely as well. As soon as the order was delivered, we noticed we were missing items. Our frosty was missing (peppermint) as well as several parts if the order (a medium fry, queso fries, Baked Potato, Chilli, and a Junior Bacon Cheeseburger). There also aren't any straws, napkins, or sauces for the nuggets. Honestly, I just thought that maybe a bag was missing. I asked the delivery driver, and she stated that these were all the items she was handed and apologized for the inconvenience (see even though she couldn't do anything, she still apologized, more on this later). Although a bit annoyed (if I could go to the store then I would have in the first place), I understand that things happen and it was just a mistake. The baked potato and Chilli were my Mother In Laws' entire meal so I had no choice but to go retrieve the missing items. When I arrived at the location, I attempted to go inside, and the doors were locked. It was 730 in the evening, why were the doors locked. So I went to go through the drive-through. I waited 9 minutes to be greeted. When I told the cashier my order was incorrect and I waited 9 min to get greeted, he told me to drive forward. When I arrived at the window, I was met with what looked like a manager (I will state that no one confirmed he was a manager). I attempted to inform him of the missing items, and he told me that Christmas was over, so they didn't have Peppermint Frosty's. I asked why I was allowed to order the frosty if they didn't have them, and he said he did not know. I asked him for a refund. He went to tell the workers to remake the missing items, and he came back to tell me they didn't have any baked potatoes. He asked if I wanted something else instead and let him know that I had to call home (it ended up being a large fry). As he brought me the items, he told me that he can't do any refunds cause he can't do anything about app orders. I needed to request the refund for the frosty in the app (never offering a replacement item for the frosty, which I thought was odd). As I examined the bag he gave me, I noticed not only was I still missing the queso fries, but I was also still missing all condiments and utensils. At this point, I was just done. Not because of the repeated missing items, not because of the frustration, but simply because the manager didn't do the basic thing that anyone should do when dealing with an upset customer...apologize. By the time I got home the food I had originally ordered was cold and inedible, the fries that were given as a replacement were not salted, and my kids won't eat nuggets without their honey mustard. My Mother In Law had to drink her chili. The rest of the food was just wasted. I don't think a refund is an unreasonable request. I will also be contacting the store GM.
Edit: It has been four days and their has been no contact from the store or Wendy's customer care. They are "temporarily closed". I think this is ridiculous and people should run...
Read moreHello I am truly dissatisfied with the service i received and If I could give zero stars I would with this Wendyâs . I was excited to get a apple pecan salad i just recently discovered you guys have. When I pulled up It was approximately 7:57pm on 8/17/2020 & Ordered an African American lady was speaking and from the jump of the conversation she was rude. We donât got it ! I asked her do they have any salads as I am looking at the salads on the menu. She yelled we got Caesar and avocado salad. I tried to ask if I could get a salad with grill chicken due to I cannot have all the dairy she yelled âWe canât make the saladâ I paused to catch my thoughts because her attitude was so bad i said yâall canât make any salads? she stated no they are premade. I said alright and drove off I couldnât even say thank you normally I would My perception is she acted as if she didnât like or didnât want to be at her job and you donât know what people are going through I just lost my mother Last month but I am very spiritual and try to have a good attitude even if somebody does not but I was so upset I drove off so upset in tears because If only she knew how she made me feel l I ended up driving to Chick fil A where thank God they had a similar salad and wonderful attitudes and wonderful service I will not come back to that Wendyâs for this reason your employees represent your company my advice is please pick people who will represent your company well and if she was just having a bad day I pray she...
Read moreI'd give zero if I could. Tried this location back in July, they were rude. I chalked it up to maybe just a bad day. We all have bad days. But tried here again today.
đ© #1 rude right when you get to the menu. She said "Wendy's. Make your order." Told her I had a mobile order for *. To which she asked me THREE times for the name, each time more rudely...even though I gave her the name every single time. Then she yelled "PULL UP" Got to the drive through window with my window still down, and heard her being rude to the car behind me already and they haven't even spoken a word yet.
đ© #2. She hands me my drinks without saying a single word. I said "thank you", to which her reply was no words, just literally slamming of the window. She goes to hand me my food, and same thing. No words, just slams the window.
đ© #3. Food was wrong/incomplete. My sandwich was missing the honey mustard I ordered. My son's kids meal was missing his entire strawberries.
I don't like their attitude. There's plenty of bad reviews of this location on social media but I thought, give it a shot anyway. A few peoples bad experiences won't be mine. But I had the same experience TWICE. That right there tells me it's not a bad day. It's their bad attitude every single day towards every single person.
I won't be going back. I'll drive extra mileage to simply avoid this...
