Zaxby's Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

Horrible experience. A friend and I went through the drive thru and asked if we could order the 20 piece wing (25.99) with two different sauces. The drive thru associate said we could not. Not understanding when this became the policy, we asked for clarification and she changed her answer to yes, we could order two different sauces without any explanation….weird. So we proceed to order a 20 piece with two sauces, or so we think. After that point, the lady taking our order was short with us. After everything we ordered she replied “what else, what else, what else”. We pull around and pay and laugh it off as being weird.. I checked our receipt and she charged us for TWO 10 piece wings for 14.99 each. She just ran the card without telling us she rung it up differently. When we asked why it costs four additional dollars to toss 10 wings in sauce, the lady who took our order walked away from the window and another guy came to the window. When we asked him again why tossing wings costs four additional dollars, he first replied with “a 20 piece is 25.99”……???? Right? So why are we not being charged for that when that’s what we ordered? And why didn’t she communicate that she would have to charge us that way? He then started to repeat “I’m new to the situation, i didn’t ring your order up” as if we were being aggressive and rude by asking when we honestly just wanted to know the answer to the question and his responses weren’t coherent or helpful. Seeing that we obviously weren’t going to be helped, we pulled off. To make matters worse, we get home and not only is there not toast in our boxes although they charged us for a regular 10 piece, this had to have been the STINGIEST use of sauce I had ever seen. You would think the wings would be swimming in sauce for a four dollar upcharge. Overall, a hot mess twilight zone of...

This location is horrible. Rude. Can't get an order right. Management doesn't care.

Update: original review was 2 years ago. Gave them two more chances lately due to busy schedules and nearby errands.... BOTH ORDERS HAD MISTAKES. First, ordered a buffalo blue salad, got home, it had regular fingers and ranch sauce instead of blue cheese as requested. Didn't have any other dressing at home, ranch is disgusting, not enjoyable with no dressing. Made some homemade vinaigrette to salvage it, while the other food got cold. Yesterday, along with two regular plates (keep it simple for these people), I did order an extra slaw (response, "ok, would you like anything else?" As if it was understood. Note, always get them to repeat the order.) Didn't get rung up. When I pointed it out, cashier appeared shocked someone would want extra slaw. Said she was sorry. Did not suggest any remedy (yes, it would be a horror to spend 1 minute to ring up another item and grab a prepared one so a customer could have the food they wanted.). And I don't know what she thought she heard as my additional item, nothing was rung up after the two plates. Usually the errors are in the kitchen, but double check the orders too. Oh, and of course no forks, napkins, or ketchup in the bag, which a drive through order should have.

Good people, clean restaurant, but the reason I come here was strictly for the fried mushrooms 🍄 and they "NO LONGER HAVE FRIED MUSHROOMS " thus why the restaurant was empty with just a few people, because they must Not have what people want. We can get chicken 🐔 anywhere, and it's a little expensive here. Even the Cobb Salad 🥗 that I got, only had have of the Grill Chicken 🐔 that it suppose to have. We can get chicken at Slims Chickens 🐔, Party Fowl which is better than the other two, but the top Best of the Best is Hattie B's. Don't even look at Prince's Hot Chicken, way... Way... WAY toooo much Salt on Everything. At least the one on Nolensville Pike. Look it's simply: Lebanon and Mt.Juliet area Slims Chicken, Old Hickory and Donelson area Party Fowl, Down Town Nashville and I-440 area Hattie B's. In the event that you have out of town guest,... STOP... make yourself look Great and make the drive 🚗, No matter how far, to Hattie B's, never... Never... I mean NEVER have I had a bad experience in my 20 plus times gong there.
