Zaxby's Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

I don’t expect anything more than an average experience at a fast food place like Zaxby’s. This being said, this location is remarkably bad. You are better off going to the location two-ish miles away on nolensville. I have gotten full blown food poisoning symptoms 3-4 times every time I’ve eaten here, for context I am immunocompromised and get food poisoning easily, but that is a lot of times for symptoms. Especially when no other location has had this issue in my experience. I seriously have no idea how this place is still in business. I kid you not. My ex’s brother ate here one time with us (and we all felt unwell after) and he threw up violently a few hours after. I will never forget this because I was also feeling unwell and this made it worse to be honest. I have felt sick after this location many times but no other location I have been to. This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at any restaurant. My girlfriend 3 grandkids and I arrived at noon on 11:55 on Sunday and placed our order. I was on my way to work after church so we figured we'd grab a bite and I could head out. The place was almost empty; there were maybe 3 other people there. I waited for a half an hour and never got served! 30 minutes elapsed in a nearly empty restaurant and they could not get me my food. I finally had to leave and pickup a prepackaged sandwich at a convenience store. It gets even worse. My girlfriend waited 45 minutes (!) for her and the grandkids food. 45 minutes. At a fast food restaurant. I'm 64 years old and I've never seen such pathetic incompetence at a business in my life. Pulled up to the drive-thru to purchase a large Zak pack. The young man working drive thru was not familiar with the menu in the offerings & did not respond appropriately to my questions. I ended up having to go in to explain that I wanted to purchase a Zak pack I was told that they were out of coleslaw and pasta salad with with two of the offerings with the Zak pack. I was told that they would give me extra fries instead. I proceeded to go ahead and place the order and I was then told that they were also out of sweet tea which was another offering that came with the meal. After extreme frustration I decided to just not purchase at Zaxby's. I left and proceeded to go to Bojangles instead.
