I like JJ's Sandwiches very much but this particular location off of NASA Rd One has some staffing issues with their customers. I have been to this location twice within three months or so and both times as soon as I entered the front door, there is a older lady in her 50's or so with black hair giving out the evil eye with a hard look at you. It definitely was not a welcoming look not that I expect the red carpet to be rolled out for me either. Nevertheless at that time I did not give it much thought and order my food. After paying they prepared my Sandwich and they "hand delivered" the Sandwich in it's wrapper directly in my hand. I laughed a bit and asked them if they can please put it in a bag for me as one is more professional and two it was to go. Very odd I thought. I left and ate my Sandwich at home all was well. My second visit to this location I noticed the same older lady with black hair gave me that same evil eye hard look as soon as I walked in the front door. This is the kinda evil eye look as if it happened in the streets you would nod your head up and say "what's up man?' Of course I personally would never do this to a lady. My parents raised me the right way. In her defense, I may be reading too much into this but I do not believe I am. That second visit I read a sign out side their front window that said "Build Your Own Sandwich." I informed the person working the front counter that I wanted to build my own Sandwich and I was told "we don't do that here." I responded with the sign on their window that says "build our own Sandwich." Again, I was told "we don't do that here." Nevertheless I just left and bought food somewhere else. I am not going to argue or debate with anyone over a Sandwich but I did feel compelled to write about my experiences with this location. I like JJ's Sandwiches but I am not going to return to any places of business when they have issues with operations with their customers. I would rather give my money to someone else.

Read moreI ordered for delivery 500’ away, to the Courtyard by Marriott Saturn Lane, right behind their store. I ordered on line. One hour later I was delivered three of the soggiest, worst sandwiches every made. Most was thrown in the garbage. I couldn’t inquire if there was in fact food which might arrive eventually. I couldn’t complain. I was at their mercy after pressing the SUBMIT button. I’ve used JimmyJohns A few times when too tired to go out, generally while traveling, and generally they’ve been acceptable, but this was over the top BAD. The delivery guy explained that he had seven deliveries & no help. How was that An excuse given the commitment of JimmyJohns to ‘freaky fast delivery’? He actually admitted to me — “my bad”, like that was an acceptable excuse for total failure. I’m deleting my account as I will never need it again, occasionally bad may be forgivable. Serving food you throw in the garbage after waiting an hour on a 10 minute promise, is...
Read moreFreaky? yes Fast? no Could understand them leaving off the peppers or bacon if they were fast but seems to be a recurring theme at this location. The manager must pad the food cost this way. $1.50 for bacon adds up. Also bought a #6 and was three bites into it before I got any guacamole. This location has lost what makes Jimmy Johns different.....the greeting, the speed, the standards the goodbye are all gone. Just another sandwich place now. If you have eaten at JJ's before somewhere else you will be disappointed in this location.... if you go in after 8 p.m the place smells of sour mop water because they start cleaning the dining room a couple of hours before closing, the one on Bay Area is as bad........I keep going back from time to time to see if things have improved but I have resolved that apathy...
