Bayou Soul — Restaurant in Natchitoches

We were visiting Louisiana from Missouri. My wife and I decided to eat at this spot on a whim, it absolutely did not disappoint! The people were very polite and the service was on point. I ordered the oxtail plate. It came with green beans and sweet potatoes. The oxtail was juicy tender and tasted amazing. The green beans had a great seasoning on them that had me going back for more. The sweet potatoes were out of this world and my wife was jealous that she didn't order some. My wife got the dirty rice and brisket sandwich. The brisket had great flavor and was tender. The dirty rice was AMAZING.

Arrived in town for a meeting and decided to check this place out. Y’all them Queso fries and Koolaid (Tropical Punch) OMG. Then a slice of that Parline Pound Cake! Lord have mercy it was DELICIOUS. The service and atmosphere was exceptional. Will be stopping in again, whenever I am near or passing this area!!
