Kaffie-Frederick is a terrific little store with a huge and eclectic selection. It's a little pricey for some items but sometimes the great customer service outweighs that. You can find everything from hardware to toys, decorations and plants, purses and perfumes (upstairs)... It's "old time-y". They have (and use) the original register, which is amazing in itself. And you can grab a glass bottle of Coke on your way in with the honor system. Whether you're just visiting Natchitoches or you live here, it's worth the stop. Historical hardware. Practical and whimsical all at once. It is like a hardware store museum but it is prices are way better than the gift shop at any museum.
