Terrible customer service experience. Terrible! We asked for 3 burritos, 2 breakfast ones and 1 meat one. The lady gave us the 3 burritos, the two breakfast ones together and the other one separate. Since they're wrapped we just took them, sat down and started eating. I started last. I take a bite and I immediately dislike it! I notice pieces of meat inside it and notice it is not mine. We tell the lady on the counter that mine was the wrong one and she says she gave us what we ordered, so we realize that there was a mistake when she handed it to us as she didn't put together the two similar ones.
While this situation was taking place she just left the burrito unopened, on the counter, with one or two flies flying over it and even standing on it. She started blaming us that it was our fault, and then turned around. She then came back and asked why the other person was eating a burrito that they hadn't asked for, with an attitude. I explained that it wasn't our intention, that we just started eating what we thought was ours, and that I wasn't going to eat what someone else (who's not my relative) started eating already.
She grabbed my burrito and threw it in the trashcan really mad, with really bad attitude. I couldn't believe that she was being this rude. Good thing is that she changed my burrito, but I don't feel like coming back to this place again.
The other lady, when I was trying to get some salsas and carrots, basically got me out of the way and started refilling the carrot pan. She took her time to do it, and even though she saw that I had to move so that she could refill it, she didn't even say "excuse me" or seem to care that the customers (me and another person) were waiting for her. Also rude!

Read moreThis is a real semi authentic Mexican food, the quesadillas are nice and their carne asada is a plus. Their burritos are fat and if you like meat this is the place to get carne asada burrito, the burrito will be loaded with meat but no rice , beans only cheese. Their prices are okay, but they are a bit above average, otherwise I would have given this place five stars. They have a nice condiment bar where you can get your favorite side add-ons such as pickled Carrots and Onions, roasted Pepper salsa and more, free of charge. You can eat in or take out, I know they do have delivery but I have not used that service. The place is clean and the kitchen is open so you can see your food getting ready, the place is fairly clean, and they have bathrooms for the customers only, and God forbid to ask to use the bathrooms if you are not going to order anything. All in all I think it is OK place, but don't expect the stars. Bon Appetite. THIS IS AN ADD ON TO MY REVIEW. Sorry to say that I was extremely disappointed in my last visit, the cashier was rude, unprofessional, (the one with the short bleached hair). The food wasn't as good as I had before, the place looked dirty, and there was a cockroach on the salad bar counter, Just seeing a cockroach in a food establishment, is just wrong, I couldn't eat the food, add to it the rude response from the cashier, trying to make me feel that I'm overreacting over a cockroach. If I can find a cockroach running around in the daylight meant the place is infested with them. I wanted to give them no star, but it's not possible. So I settled for one star only. I will not go...
Read moreThis establisment deserves zero stars for food. Keily, at the register, could not have been nicer in personality, and is bilingual. But a "Mexican" restaurant that has been in business for 40 years should know something about how to make simple Mexican food. And how to price it. I had a birthday dinner for two, at Caesar's in Tijuana, the home of the Caesar Salad and a 4-star restaurant, for the same price as six mini tacos, an enchilada combo, a burrito, and two drinks (although three were charged for we later noticed after leaving) at this place. The refried beans were burned. The "al pastor" tacos were not al pastor. The taste and quality of everything served was that of frozen dinners but reheated, like airline food. It was that bad. I saw a cook at a grill behind the counter or I would not have believed it. Each "mini taco" was the size of a standard street taco in Mexico, where they cost $1, and were $3.25 each at Los Panchos. The chicken burrito was $11.95. Two chicken enchiladas served with the burned beans were $13.95. Jamaica and horchata were $6.90 each for large and were from a very sweet mix, not homemade. There was a $2.75 charge for a medium soda that was ordered and paid for but not served. In our shock at the cost and the terrible food we were suffering at the time, we completely overlooked the undelivered drink. The bill was $59.87. 46 miles south of this restaurant at the beach in Mexico this would have been 1,000% better food and cost $20 with tip.
This is the worst...
