Sharetea National City — Restaurant in National City

I was very excited when I seen ShareTea here. Been here several times, but I mostly go to Scripps Ranch. Both have amazing friendly staff and the drinks are delicious. I did however go in around 8:45PM three days ago and the floors were wet. I looked on the door and it read they stay open until 10. I went in and there were two staff a guy with a mask that I believe was the one who just finished mopping and a girl without a mask standing behind the counter. When my daughter and I approached the counter it seemed the girl was annoyed that we were there. Totally not the service that I had received other occasions. Her tone was dismissive and her facial expression…well in my opinion people with that attitude should just stay home. Plain and simple. If you’re having a bad day stay home, but do not take it out on the paying customers. I’ve seen plenty of businesses fail in this area because of lack of customer service. Businesses come here to thrive and then hire mediocre staff whom drive customers away. Luckily I work relatively close to another ShareTea so I don’t have to return to this one, but it would be sad to see it close because of bad customer service. Especially since it’s not the only one in the vicinity selling boba. I’ll return, but if I see the girl I rather turn around and go somewhere else than to put up with her...

Postive experience and exceptional customer service skills! There was only one employee working at the time I arrived and I just want to highlight what an exceptional employee he is. This worker was very positive all while multitaneosly taking orders, making drinks, and facilitating a positive customer experience despite working in the heat (it was 100 degrees outside with no AC inside the business). It's really rare to see hardworking individuals with a positive can do attitude like him and having the right set of employees can either break or make a company thrive. ordered online for 6:00pm pick up. came to the pick up counter & was ignored by every single worker. someone else came up to the pick up counter and waited next to me. he was asked if he was picking up an order and was given his drinks. I was then ignored until my boyfriend came in and had to grab the attention of someone. we then waited because the drinks were not even ready and they only started making them when we inquired about them. I used to frequent this boba shop but the drinks and service are very inconsistent. I highly recommend the Kung Fu Tea...
