Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Nebraska

We love chipotle. Now that that's out of the way, this location is not ready for prime time. We went because we had gift cards. We were greeted by a sign on the door that the gift card reader is out of order. Sat on the parking lot and ordered takeout on the phone to be told that one of the two brand new gift cards had no balance. So paid half the bill out of pocket (family of five, so not cheap). Our food took about 15 minutes past the stated pickup time to get ready. Customers were coming and going but it wasn't busy by any stretch. As others have noted, the chips tasted like they'd made enough for the day at about 2pm and we're counting that getting them to close. Also the guac was off color and tasted bad. I can't remember ever having bad guac at a chipotle but we didn't finish it. My daughter also said she saw an employee using their chin to balance the top of a stack of salsa cups. Hopefully they threw that one away when they got where they were going, but who knows. We'll probably check back in with them at some point because chipotle is amazing, but they clearly need to work...

Came by close to closing, ordered the Al-Pastor meat & rice only bowl, and a side of chips & cheese dip. Yeah... Last time I ever pass by late, meat was burnt crumbs & chips were stale.

Came by the next day with the food from the night before & confronted 'the manager" Hunter. I explained to him what had happened, it took him a long minute to understand I didn't like the food I ordered the night before so I like to have it remade, not a refund. So like I said, it took him a long long minute, until I let him know I was not playing.

I'm thankful he understood me after I asked a few other questions.

In conclusion yeah I recommend this spot to anyone, & if anyone ever messes up your order pls do not be afraid to return your food so they can make it correctly. Just have your food & receipt ready just in case they think...

This was literally the 3rd time in less than two months I have had to go back to the restaurant because they didn’t give us something. We ordered food through the online pickup window. When we got there, I walked for plastic forks and spoons; the lady at the window assured me they were already in the bag. We drove to the park, got my children seated, opened up the bag and…no plastic ware of any kind. I, again, had to load back into the car while my wife and kids played at the park and drove back across town to get something they told me I had. It wouldn’t have been a big deal but this is more common than not. I will be calling the store owner about this if I can reach them and reporting this location to corporate. Enough is enough.
