La Hacienda Restaurant & Catering — Restaurant in Fremont

Service was great! Young man was attentive. Food was just ok, no flavor to the sauces or rice. Other places in Fremont are much better! Kind of a dissapointment.

Update: Been awhile since I've decided to give this place another try. Folks, there are far better mexican style food places in town. Tonight was laughable at best. Both the cheese dip and my entree were lukewarm at best, I only had a couple bites of my meal. Server was overwhelmed by a party that was ordering blended drinks so we didn't get any attention from our server to check up on us for almost 15 minutes. He was the one making the drinks is probably why. When he finally came over I told him to take my meal it was cold. My girlfriend was done eating and ready to go so we asked for the check. Took another 10 minutes to get the check, no manager came over or seemed present. They did take the meal off.... But where is a bartender or manager? It was prime time on a Thursday night. This place is sad at best.

Update: Decided to try again. Food this time was actually good, but the service was probably the worst in Fremont when it comes to attentiveness. We literally were waiting 20 minutes for a box and the check and it was before prime time. We won't be back. Much better options...

When we're visiting from Colorado we always make it a point to eat here!! They have friendly staff and excellent service! We usually start with a pitcher of margaritas and/or tea/water. We like to enjoy a drink with our chips and salsa! My wife and sister-in-law really love the Seafood Enchiladas!! They are full of shrimp and crab and served with a great cheese sauce! They are truly the main reason we keep coming back!! I always have the Burrito Deluxe (ground beef). It is served as 2 burritos, and together, they are a good size; with rice and beans, you leave full and satisfied! My brother had the Enchiladas, they too are great! Note: The rice and beans are delicious, and we all had them with our meal. All our food was served hot and in an appropriate amount of time! We never felt rushed even though the restaurant was getting busier and busier. The atmosphere is typical for a Mexican restaurant; that said, the dining area was clean, the tables were bussed and wiped quickly; ready for the next patrons! I definitely recommend LA Hacienda!! The waiter we had messed up virtually every thing that my wife and ordered ( one taco plate instead of 3, hard shell instead of soft, small margarita instead of large, forgot to bring more salsa when we needed it) and didn't respond to our requests. I complained to the supervisor and she said he's new and "just got here" I said" well he needs to learn English if he's going to work in Fremont Nebraska ". She replied " this is a Mexican restaurant" I said " i know, but he still needs to speak English if you are having him take orders b from Americans" she called me racist. I said i am not racist.. my wife is Chinese and i don't care where anyone is from, but this is a service industry in America and English iis a requirement she replied again that I was racist.
