I recently stopped by Lawlss Coffee and had a very enjoyable experience overall. I began with a regular black coffee, which was smooth, flavorful, and brewed just right — nothing fancy, just a good, solid cup of coffee. I then tried their pumpkin spice hot drink, and that one was excellent. The flavor was rich, perfectly balanced with the right amount of spice and sweetness, and it really hit the spot on a cool day.
For food, I ordered the grilled cheese sandwich. The cheese was nicely melted, but the bread had sesame seeds on it, which I didn’t particularly care for. My wife didn’t mind them, so she enjoyed those parts instead. I did wish they had biscuits available, but unfortunately, they were out at the time.
The café itself had a great atmosphere — very clean, bright, and spacious, which made it a pleasant place to relax. The staff seemed friendly and efficient, and the overall vibe was calm and comfortable. Even with the small food-related details, I’d definitely come back again, especially for that pumpkin spice drink, which was the highlight of the visit.
Returned for a second visit, tried the pumpkin spice late which was still good. Also tried the butter pecan which was also excellent reminded me of a...
Read moreI have been a big fan of this place since moving here over a year ago. I was going in between giving it three or four stars, in the past it was definitely a five-star coffee shop. Lately though I feel like the service and quality of beverage has started to decline. I went in today and they let my espresso shot sit for at least 2 minutes before putting it in my drink (this is a big No-No for espresso), the two girls working were younger and talking to each other and checking their phones. I mean it's still a great coffee shop but the quality and service are now inconsistent depending on who is working. I believe these are the same owners as Tempest in Appleton? I will now drive 20 minutes to get to Tempest as opposed to 4 minutes to get here because Tempest is consistently amazing every time. Again, not trying to knock this place. I've been a devoted customer for a year and a half. And sometimes it's still amazing but just not every time anymore. I will still stop into this place, just not nearly...
Read moreI almost don’t want to review because I want this place to stay a secret and not get too populated.
I’ve been to several coffee shops across the US and between this shop and another in Salt Lake City are by far one of my favorites and most memorable. Michelle is the sweetest if you get a chance to chat with her if she’s not too busy assisting customers or making some coffee.
They have the best iced carmello latte! I can’t say I’ve had one elsewhere, but it’s so delicious and amazing. I highly recommend it!
I’ve ordered a few things off their menu, but my favorite would be their egg and bacon biscuit sandwich (sub it out for an everything bagel) and add a little cholula if it’s available and I think it’s just a wonderful breakfast.
They also have some tasty seasonal overnight oats for a quick grab and go option.
This place takes pride in their coffee and food so plan on spending a few mins waiting for your order. Walk around, or plan on getting some work emails out of the way. I believe it’s...
