This place has some of the WORST servers I think I've ever had BUT the PIZZA is REALLY GOOD and on the offchance you have a kid that plays hockey or skates, you got a sweet tableside view of the rink. So good job pizza, beer, and hockey, but BOOOO servers all the way. It's a shame because it would be an utter delight to come otherwise.
I've been here at least 6 or 7 times (I will continue to come because of my little brothers hockey games) and every time the servers have the resting b**h face dial turned up to a ten. In all honesty maybe it's not their fault. Maybe the manager beats them or something but their attitudes suck. Not once have I gotten a smile. Not once have I recieved prompt attentive service without having to like get up from the table and walk over or stare holes into their heads with my eyes... ice queens... every one. If there were'nt smiling kids on the other side of the glass it would feel like cold war soviet russia with probably more beer choices. (To their credit they have never messed my order up).
I don't need fan fare or for you to blow rainbows out your butt at me when I walk in a place, but jeez... a little customer service goes a long way...

I have professed for years that Brooksys absolutely had the best chicken wings in town; tender and tastey. Up until today, my experience was always consistant. With the economy having a huge impact on business wages, people, and product; sadly, I feel this has affected this establishment. There were only 5 tables occupied with at least 2 servers present. Although they were very cordial, it took a very long time to get any attention or help. When our wings finally showed up, we were dismayed that they were over cooked and tough. Read moreService can be hit or miss but the servers show concern so it really is hit or miss related to either workload or experience. I give a 4 for Service because the servers care.
I’m more concerned about managements decisions in processing bills/tickets which is what drives my 3 overall rating.
If you are with a large group and paying separate the servers appear to enter as one and split later. This has led to confusion/mistakes on the individual bills at times.
Management has decided to add a 4% charge for credit card payments. It is unfortunately a growing trend mostly for local/independent bars/restaurants but 4% is the highest I have ever seen. Since Amex charges businesses an average of say 3% and other providers at 2%, Brooksy’s leadership has made a poor ethics choice in my view to turn this into a profit source.
