Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Nevada

Missed my bus back to tahoe; had an hour & half to kill til next bus, and Domino's was close by... To my surprise, this particular location is highly rated (at 4.4 of 5), and i can see why...Though the cashier never put my order in (i was dining in (yes, this dominos actually has tables, and i was waiting for a long while), the manager/owner, Chris, gave me one of the items i originally ordered for free. Though i did thought 7.99 was a bit pricy for a small serving of pasta (which i got for free because of cashier error), Chris made the WHOLE experince all the worthwhile! One thing i wish that could have been better is less burnt pasta on the sides of the bowl, and possibly have the menu prices with the items on the screen. Chris, if your reading this, you could be one of the finest chefs in Italy! Your character, personality, attitude really shows in your work! In which, i deeply admire! Excellent vibe! (Surpise you don't open your own, under ur own name! Haha). He's extremely friendly with kids, chris is. He even has a step up steps for kids to watch how the pizza is made! Personality matters in the hospitality business, and he well exceeds all expectations. I don't work there, but he seems a great boss man as well! Other reviews don't lie, he some times does give freebies or discounts on items for kids. I think more than ur average dominos! I also had the philly steak sandwich and that was good! Chis, owner/manager took harsh position with, a customer. Staying at the Carson Valley Inn, it was an easy decision to walk across the parking lot to pick up a pizza. No big deal. I was kept on hold 20 minutes. Frustrated knowing I could just walk over there that’s what I did…the entire time still on hold! Chris, was so upset with me (the customer) because I was upset showing him on my phone I’m STILL ON HOLD mind you, was ready to fight me in the parking lot😂. But challenged him back. I’m a customer. Who does that? I’m not a “karen” but damn if I let someone do that to me. This will fall on deft ears, and that’s okay. I still like Domino's, but what the serious heck? I’m so mad at the “service”. I didn’t even get my pizza, because we were going to fight! In the parking lot! Crazy …. Pizza is good., people (Chris) not so much. I am a local and have never done a negative review. Everyone at the Minden Domino’s is super, super friendly, helpful, accommodating, hard working and really respectful of each other. I love seeing people work well together, getting along and just being kind in their work environment!!

Chris runs a tight ship but he’s really respectful, helpful and cheerful with the staff. I like to think I’m calling a friend when I need to call the store. That’s why it runs like a well oiled machine!!!

GOOD LEADER=GREAT WORKPLACE It’s like a manager who works for the staff, not the other way around!!!
