Update Better than our last visit. The food took quite a while to be served, but it was hot and good.
Old: When we walked in, the dining room was very cold, like usual. We ordered a couple of meals, and it took over 20 minutes to get our food served to us. Unfortunately, every single item on both plates except the French fries were old and cold. The fish, hush puppies, shrimp, boneless chicken, everything was cold and old and terrible almost not edible at all. Speaking of shrimp, what the heck happened? They used to be decent sized! I peeled away the batter off of a couple of them just to see how small they were, and they were the same size as my fingernails, no kidding! Imagine getting shrimp as small as your fingernails! That was completely absurd! Plus, they were cold and hard. I wish I had brought my phone with me so I could have taken a picture. This was by far the worst meal I have ever been served from this location, enough to keep me from coming back ever again. Bye-bye, Long John's, it was nice knowing you when you were good. I will be going down the road to California Fish Grill to get real fish from now on. Your LJS food is not even worth half of what you charge!

Read moreI drove 20 miles only to be told they were out of chicken batter, they were the only Long John Silver in Las Vegas, the nearest one was in California and there was nothing that he could do to accommodate me and there are many other people who have driven farther than me. I was told this by the manager on shift at the time named Brandon who was not at all customer oriented. It was a better way to go about that. I will NEVER RECOMMEND NOR GO THERE AGAIN. To drive that far for nothing and get brushed off like that was disappointing to say the least. I absolutely LOVE LJS, but I know other restaurants that would have been more than ready to keep their customers happy. So much for “customer is always right.” Very very disappointed. I’m going to go on their website and make a complaint/comment about this. If you’re the only one and you’re in “high demand” you should be well stocked. Read moreSo got into argument with night manager..... Went in with good intentions... To let them know that social media is not to kind to them and someone from store management should check it out to maybe take care of issues mentioned.... I then said me and family had been there 2 times on Sundays in the past when the store was closed before posted closing time... She immediately took offense throwing up her arms saying no, I am the night manager and we never close before closing.....well it got worse, and my daughter said " we need to just go now...if we order they will spit in our food or something...then the Mngr said no, we wouldn't do that....but we went to Taco Bell next door anyway.... Shame as I was looking forward to Fish N Chips ... So now gotta call Corporate and let them know...will they accept criticism??? Who knows... I mean my family was right there and confirmed the store was closed but she flew off....adding...called Corporate and maybe they don't care....always and machine... Never a return call....that OK...not going...
